I'm a big fan of Laphroaig Scotch Whisky. If you don't like Scotch it's an even better excuse to order it because you won't want to drink it...and save you the empty calories ;-)

OK, I'm sorry, but the people saying diet soda is OK to drink are just plain WRONG. Artificial sweeteners like aspartame, saccharin, and sucralose have been shown to have the same effect on your body as sugar. OK, so....I weighed in on the 1st at 190.6. I actually took it pretty hard and went on kind of a binge over the weekend as a result. So, yay, now I'm back up to 192. /sigh Here's hoping the weigh in on the 15th is kinder. Sorry to disappoint. :(

I'm getting closer. I've really been watching my calorie intake...and I've been crushing my workouts this week. Saturday is the 1st, so we will see then. :)

I cut out Dr. Pepper (and all soda pop) completely. This was extremely difficult but I've been on the wagon for over 2.5 months. All I drink is water (occasionally unsweetened iced tea) and coffee. I haven't so much cut foods out as I try to make healthier choices. That and portion control.
