I do all my cooking on Sunday. I cook all my lunches for the whole week. By meal prepping, I am forced to eat whatever healthy lunch I have packed for that day :)

Like everyone else mentioned, make sure he is certified by an accredited program by the NCCA. Also, when working out he should be teaching you what to do, what not to do, how to perfect your form, etc. He should be there to support you while educating you so that you can reach your goals, etc. etc.

People that interrupt my workout to tell me I'm going to get "too big"... First of all, that's my goal. Second of all, I'm 100lbs... Like really?
-
When I was bulking, I struggled with the same issue! I ended up drinking protein shakes to meet my caloric & macro goals.

"To lose weight, you need to consume less calories. BUT, if you consume TOO few calories, your metabolism slows down so much so that your body enters a state where weight loss stops completely. Some people also believe being in this state of not eating enough calories not only prevents weight loss from happening, but it…

Again, I don't know her age, height, weight, body fat, etc. I don't know what her macros/calories should be and how far off she is. But when your body does go into starvation mode, your metabolism slows down because it doesn't know when it's going to get more calories. It also depends on what her macros consist of, mostly…

Use a macro generator such as iifym.com. I don't know your info but I can guarantee that you are not eating enough. With that being said, you could be starving yourself therefore you body is slowing it's metabolism down because it doesn't know when it's going to get food next... So by not eating enough you could actually…

For some people that may be the case, but when I input my exercise my MVP it said I burned almost 400 calories when in reality I burned closer to 100 and sometimes it's flipflopped.... I don't know... just feel better trusting my watch because it takes my heart rate, body fat percentage, age, height, weight, gender, etc.…

In the first photo, I was at my biggest 140lbs. In the middle photo, I was 94lbs. In the right photo, I was 110lbs. From roughly 30% bodyfat to 22% bodyfat to approximately 15% bodyfat. Feel free to add me and congrats everyone on your weight loss!!!

I just started buying heathy Greek yogurts (macros are usually around the 40/40/20 range) and freezing them. Then when it's time to eat it, I microwave it for a few seconds and mush it up. Looks like icecream. Tastes really good. Not like icecream but pretty close. I get different flavors to change it up and my icecream…

You either need a change in your diet or exercise routine OR you need to stop looking at the scale and measure body fat instead to see if you've really hit a plateau. I've been sitting at the same weight (give or take 5lbs) for the past year but I dropped my body fat from 21% to 13% (was doing a mock comp diet). I looked…

Probably water retention... Also how about measuring body fat instead of pounds? If your lifting weights, you are going to be losing fat but gaining muscle and muscle weighs more than fat. Also take pictures and use that to track your progress instead of the scale. The scale sucks!!!
-
I have a question. Is there a way to do body fat instead of body weight? I want to join but I'm not trying to lose weight, just gain muscle.
-
I'll join ya! I decided that when school starts (I'm a teacher) that I would get back into my clean eating and exercise routine! Looking to lose body fat this fall without falling off the bandwagon this time!!!
-
I have a ton of workouts on my video Instagram (@terrinicolefitness) where I include a lot of videos with Dumbbells for people to do at home! I also try to include in the description which muscle the exercise is targeting. Hope this helps!
-
Only 4'11 and weighed 140lbs when I first started my fitness journey!
-
You can do a bunch of ab exercises but you cannot spot reduce fat. You cannot just point to a part of your body you don't like and do exercises for only that muscle and lose fat there. As you loose body fat, you'll lose it all over your body.
-
I would use a macro calculator. I like www.iifym.com best!!!
