Texas here as well! I just started going to a weight loss clinic. I've struggled with my weight ever since thyroid removal. I've lost 10 lbs. but I have 50 to go. Really could use some encouragement as well!

I'm hypothyroid (thyroid was removed about 6 years ago) and I've struggled with my weight ever since. Have you read the Thyroid Diet by Mary Shomon? Might really help someone who still has a thyroid.

I was prescribed the same medication about three weeks ago and I was advised to break it in half and take half before lunch and half before dinner. Seems to be helping. I've lost about 10 lbs. Lots more to go though.
