If you are patient...you can do a saltwater tank The longest part of setup is setting up the live sand, letting it sit, adding live rock, letting it sit...then start with cleanup crew

I actually think saltwater is easier to keep. It's been my experience anyway The sand, live rock, and scavenger cleanup crew maintain the tank Cichlids are cool but the saltwater "fish" are really interesting
