  • From a mathematical point of view, the more data points you have the better idea you have of overall trends. So daily weighing is the best solution. However, you will get fluctuations. So using a weighted rolling-average like trendweight or hacker's diet implements gives you the best picture of your progress.

  • Have you linked any other apps to MFP? I did something similar and linked Google Fit, so MFP was recording steps from Fitbit and Google Fit on my phone. I just disconnected Google Fit in the MFP settings.
  • I'm every day, first thing in the morning. The more data points the more accurate you'll know your true weight.
