I either add my foods manually or scan them in. I find many entries that are way off.

Regular plain yogurt (not the Greek stuff) has an impressive 573 mg of potassium per cup. Plus, it packs nearly half your daily calcium needs. My potassium goal is 4,700 because I consume a lot of sodium (Keto). In addition to plain yogurt - beets, chard, spinach, butternut squash are all higher in potassium than bananas.

Yes, I maintained quite well for 8 months, then I got pregnant. I increased my carbs somewhat, but stayed away from sugar and bread. I gained 26 pounds during pregnancy and then my eating habits changed while I was breastfeeding. I was hungry all.the.time.

I really struggle with sugar addiction. Every time I’ve given up sugar, I feel great. If I stay away from it, I get over the cravings in about four days. I do feel like I could maintain a lowish carb plan - especially if it kick started some weight loss.

Yes, I have been so frustrated. I’ll go two weeks with having every single day be below calorie goal, but I don’t see any weight loss or difference in how my clothes fit. I’m not really much of a scale watcher, I judge my success by how my clothes fit and how I feel. But, when I don’t see any change at all in two weeks, I…

I did whole30 for 42 days. I followed it to the letter. I did not weigh myself during, and did not count calories. I lost ten pounds in 6 weeks and felt better than I had in years. I followed a modified whole30 (paleo) for three more months, and kept the weight off. During an injury, I ended up going back to some unhealthy…

Me too.

Seriously? I hope nurse is your last name and not your job. That's not the kind of question I'd hope to hear from a medical professional.

I have bipolar disorder. When I'm depressed, I binge for comfort. Because sometimes that's the only time I feel alive. During the several manic episodes I've had, I exercised to the extreme - injuring myself. I'm on a decent combo of meds now, which keep me pretty stable. But i do understand the battle.

I'm Robin, 51, live in middle Tennessee with my partner and two teen daughters. I'm having a breast reduction on December 12 and I'm SO excited! It will make exercise so much easier. So, my goal is to lose a few pounds until then, and focus on recovery for the rest of the month. I would love to hear from some women who…

I'm just starting, but I'm going gluten free. I don't have celiac, but I can tell a difference in how I feel if I don't eat gluten. I'm also on a sugar hiatus. I did Whole30 (really Whole42) and felt great!! I'm trying to get motivated to make that commitment again. I'm looking for friends who will be accountability…

I can't do just a little. I just tell people I'm on a sugar fast - usually people understand. If I eat just a little, I'll keep eating it. Sugar is my crack. If I'm in those situations, I'll drink a cup of coffee and politely decline "even just a bite."

Great job! Keep it up.

I don't like the word forever when talking about food. It's not a realistic aspiration. Why not say you want to cut out refined and added sugar from your diet and leave it at that. One day at a time. Forever is a really long time. Lol

I weigh once a month. There's too much fluctuation day to day that's normal, so seeing a three pound increase one day didn't matter to me anyway. I'm not a scale watcher, thankfully.

I use Vega One too. It's tasty, comes from whole foods, is high in protein and low in sugar and carbs. I usually add fresh fruit, so mine have more carbs

I use this: http://myvega.com/product/vega-one-nutritional-shake/ All vegetable protein, non GMO, whole food based. Yummy!
