  • You both radiate happiness. I love seeing success stories (and pics!) like this because it's so motivating! I started in July of last year too, at 238 and have a goal of 155, so not too far from your stats. I took a 6 month maintenance period, but am back at it. Just 20 lbs to go to goal. Your post was just what I needed…
  • Hi everyone. I'm Sara from Arizona, USA, and am 49 years old. I've lost 60 lbs, and have been maintaining that loss for the past 6 months. I have another 20 lbs I want to lose to put me at 160 (I'm 5'7). This will be a great group to be a part of because I love the motivation of working in a group and I want to be at my…
  • Week 4 results are in! Congratulations to: 1st - lja860813 2nd - FluffySquid 3rd - NorwegianGuy Awesome losses!
  • Thanks so much, ladies! I'm in remission and am told I have an excellent prognosis for beating this. I just need to finish the chemo and then I'll feel like I have my life back. My health is a big reason I'm wanting to eat well and get my weight down to a "normal" BMI instead of "overweight". I figure it will help…
  • Hi Team. Well, I have to apologize. I had a horrible weigh in. In fact this whole month has been a waste with regard to my weight loss. I have leukemia and I started back on my 3rd of 4 month-long daily chemo sessions this month and the meds make it very hard to lose weight and exercise. The month of May will be better for…
  • Username: stm712015 Team: Run Track Minds Weight: 186 Sorry. I'm on medication/treatments that are making weight loss so hard this month. :(
  • Results for week 3 have been posted. Congrats to: 1st - idabah - 1.14% 2nd - TammyR429 - 0.92% 3rd - NorwegianGuy 0.62% Fantastic! Have a great last week of the challenge, everyone!
  • I hope you feel better soon. <3
  • Plateau's are tough, aren't they? But, I've noticed every time I lose weight it's always in a stair step pattern, so I try not to stress about the plateau's (easier said then done sometimes, I know). Plateau's also give me a chance to reevaluate what I'm doing. Have I become lax in certain things? The bottom line is, as…

  • How was everyone's weekend? Do you think you'll sign up for May's challenge?
  • Whoohoo! Onederland! That's a big moment. So happy for you.
  • The results for Week 2 are in! Please help me congratulate our top three team members: Run Track Minds 1st - FluffySquid - 1.34% 2nd - idabah - 1.13% 3rd - ahelgers10 - 0.90% Fantastic losses!
  • Any loss when vacationing and traveling is a huge win in my book! Way to go! I like that @matthewsfive "Top 3 for week 3!"
  • I'm so glad you're finally feeling better!
  • Thanks! Yes, the worst of it (the move and surgeries) are behind me now. :)

  • We've had some great weigh in's already this week. Great job! Today's my weigh in day. I'm afraid I'm up .8 lb. I'm using a new scale and it's slightly heavier than my old one. Sorry about that! :( How's everyone doing?
  • Thanks for letting us know. I hope you heal quickly @lotte0989 !!
  • No worries on being included, I just hope you feel better now.
  • Ooooh, good one! How often were you weighing yourself? I weigh each morning because I find it helps set the tone for my day and I'm used to seeing some fluctuations so I try not to get too wrapped up in the number. I think you're spot on about focusing on how you feel.
  • Meal planning is huge, isn't it? Makes all the difference in the world. I've noticed this past week, when I didn't plan or pre-make any meals like I normally do, that I really struggled to eat healthy and log everything. Good luck, and let us know how it's going!
  • Well... it's been a ghost town this past week. Tumble weeds rolling by as I talk to myself. ;) Thought I might as well bring the subject up, and see if anyone bites. Wish me luck. At least everyone weighed in, which is fantastic!
  • I don't see the April 9th weigh in thread so I'm going to post here. SW for this challenge (2/27): 192.4 CW (4/09): 184 -8.4 Didn't do well this week. Gained a little. But, I had two surgeries and am on medication that isn't helping so helping that it will drop back off when I go off the meds.
  • Thank you both! I've made this week's challenge "team participation", supporting and engaging with one another, and checking in periodically.
  • My check in: Well... I've been struggling a bit. I've had two surgeries this past week that required general anesthesia, along with moving out of my home of three years on Thursday, which threw me off track in my normal routine. I usually prep my food on the weekends, and log each day. This week, I did little of that. I…
  • The results are in! http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10369286/week-1-winners#latest Although we didn't place in the top 3 for teams, we did very well, with a total loss of 25.2 lbs. Please help me congratulate: Run Track Minds 1st - kbrunner2 - 2.12% 2nd - matthewsfive - 2.02% 3rd - NorwegianGuy - 2.01%…
  • Whoohoo! 100% participation! Way to go, team!
  • A big part of doing team challenges is the "team" aspect but mine is doing very little interacting with each other. I hope (Run Track Mind) becomes more interactive as the challenge goes on. Maybe, as Serendipity mentioned earlier to another captain, they'll get more involved after the first results are posted? I just feel…
