32 and have been on this fitness journey for 5 years now. Let's go on this journey together, feel free to add me. My diary is open.

I'm mostly pescatarian. Tilapia, yellow fin, catfish, salmon, cod, tuna. Sushi rolls with black rice or brown rice and cavier, the best! I wish I could eat more dairy, but I'm lactose intolerant, yogurt and whey gives me gas.

I've competed at physique shows, and most of the people I work with don't understand what I'm trying to accomplish, in terms of weight loss. My face usually gets emaciated when I drop down to competition weight, which for most would be a sign of sickness. Instead of being complimented, they would tell me I should eat a…

I'm 5'4 (Kevin Hart size) and I've competed in men's physique in the past. I've always been small and skinny my whole life. In highschool, I was barely 100lbs. Couldn't even bench press the bar, that's how small and weak I was. Currently I'm at 145 lbs, trying to gain up to 150 - 160, then cut down. Right now I'm just…

I also work nights, 3-13HR shifts in the lab department. The best thing that has worked for me is meal planning. This comes to a total of 9 meals per work week. You can buy meal prep containers, the ones with compartments to help portion out your foods. The last thing I want to do is slave away in the kitchen or eat a lot…

Have you had blood work done? I recommend getting your thyroid, cmp, lipid, and cbc checked just to rule out any genetic and health disorders. Hormones also play an important role in body composition.

I've been single for the majority of my life. Been on dates, clubs, bars, special events, but never have I really enjoyed going to them. I have a great career, I'm college educated, financially stable, and as a matter of fact, I recently closed on a new home. I never thought I would even buy a home unless I got married.…

I also work night shift 5pm-630am. People have a way of making room for things that are most important to them, even if it may be difficult at times. I've been on this marathon for 5 years now, and yet I still haven't reached my goal.

In terms of weight loss, I think you are on track. The main thing to focus on is calories and energy balance. Are you putting yourself in a caloric deficite? And are you getting enough sleep? The next thing to focus on is your training. Are you training in a way that makes your body adapt. The term metabolic adaptation…

I've been on this fitness thing for 5 years now. I think I got this nutrition thing figured out, but then again, nutrition is more a matter of partition, and partitioning is a matter of biological processes which works in tandem with ones age, sex, health, and activity level. The point is, I would be glad to help you.…

I can't drink alcohol, though, nothing to boast about. I have a genetic condition which inhibits me from metabolizing alcohol. My body lacks an enzyme which is needed to effeciently break down alcohol. So basically I gotta stay away from alcohol consumption or else I can potentially die from it. But anybody can die from it…

I've been working night shift for 5 years now in the lab department. I work three straight 13hr shifts. It's totally doable. I've also competed in men's physique. It all depends on how bad you want it.

When it comes to carb consumption and weight loss, my body tends to react optimally around 150g. Anything below that I'll feel like poop and won't be able to perform at my best. And anything above I'll feel bloated. I think it's different for everyone. You have to play around and find that sweet spot.

If it fits your macros approach. Calories and energy balance has been most effective for me. If clean eating means eating broccoli and chicken every time then count me out. I like my curry chicken and fried rice.

I have a home gym and I also go to a commercial gym. They both get the job done. At home I have a squat rack and an oly platform. When I'm programming for strength, I usually use my home gym. It gives me the liberty of dialing in on my numbers and to also work on form and technique. For accessories or bodybuilding type…

At the end of the day, ask yourself this; did you fulfill your macro-nutrition?, did you get a good workout? Did you get adequate sleep? Keep it simple my friend. And I do agree, some of these supplements are a scam to line the companies pockets. What works for me are good wholesome meals, caffeine, and whey protein. Do…

I was always the geeky asian nerd my whole life. But three years ago, I discovered the world of health and fitness. Besides anime, videogames, and science, I found another passion. And that is to push my body to its limits. I'm a lab rat working in a laboratory facility, which have been the vehicle to helping me pursue…

My goal in 3 months is 5% body fat. But I still would like to join.

I've been all about the fitness life for about 4 years now. I was a nerdy computer geek most of my life. But now I'm a nerdy and fit computer geek! So if I can do it, anybody can!
