Actually, the poster said the chances of him undereating to the point of harming himself, were very slim. ;)

Buy a digital food scale and weigh everything you eat. You may think logging is time consuming now, but once you get in the habit you will realize it's actually a quick process, only a few minutes out of your entire day. It just takes time to get used to it. Also make sure you are using accurate database entries, avoid…

It's your honeymoon, enjoy it!

I'm curious about your logic of someone eating more would go into "starvation mode" but someone who is actually starving wouldn't? As far as your second paragraph, a 600 cal deficit is moderate and not drastic, especially for someone needing to lose 60lbs.
-
Start by weighing everything you eat, including every piece of fruit. Also, give it time!
-
Are you weighing your food in grams with a digital food scale?

I've lost 22lbs, I need to lose 6 more to get to my original goal weight, but I still have a bit more belly fat than I would like so might lose an additonal 5 after that.
-
Pretty much the same here, same goal, just didn't wanted to main and not gain during that time frame and I was going to be happy, after all was said in done, when I weighed yesterday I was down 3lbs from right before Thanksgiving.

Being Spanish and living in New Mexico, I'm quite embarrassed that I don't how to make tortillas. Especially since my entire family does(also including my husband) and I'm a much better cook than all of them combined.

I've been on MFP since July and have lurked the forums pretty much that entire time, only having made handful of posts myself. As someone who came into this knowing pretty much nothing about weight loss in July, I lurked quite a bit. I've since lost 20lbs in a sensible and healthy manner. Trust me when I say, you may not…

Spices, garlic, non stick spray(which I know has calories), but I think that's about it.

That one is pretty good. I do like the healthy choice beef merlot that was mentioned. I often have a Marie Calendar meal for lunch, slow roasted beef, beef pot roast, or steak & roasted potatoes. All of which are 350 calories or less, taste good, and are very filling.

I've had my Charge HR since July 31st and I absolutely love it.

Well what are the calories associated with this diet? You say it's calorie controlled, but nothing in your initial post supports this statement. The only portion size given was for the grapefruit. "Any meat" is also especially vague and could definitely contribute to weight gain, per this diet I could have a thick juicy…

Clearly it doesn't work that well if you were on it previously and have to go back on it.

This!!! Also, poato chips, French fries, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, grilled cheese, and mozzarella sticks.

This. Mixed with the fact that I went from an active job to a sedentary job and thought I could still eat the same. Technically, I was never overweight by BMI standards, I was at the high end of normal for my height when I started my weight loss journey, though I was only a couple pounds away from being classified as…

I disagree, the answer is ALWAYS green!

Member of the New Mexico crew checking in. I had these about a month ago from a local taco joint. These were brisket tacos. Corn tortillas lightly fried in oil and then grilled.

You look amazing!!! Seriously, you look way better at 166 than I do at 130! I'm technically 5'5 3/4", started at 148, currently weigh 130.5, goal weight is 120 then looking to do recomp at that point. Edited because I can't type.

Both are available at the local university and similar in price. Hydrostatic weighing costs $50 and BodPod $30. I'm trying to decide which to do.

I almost had veggie lasagna tonight, but decided on eggplant parm instead.
-
It's pointless. My husband has worked for GNC for 7 years and I'll still tell you that you're wasting your money.
-
That's not your deficit. Your deficit is already worked into your calorie goal set by MFP.
-
If you were to eat at maintenance for a lower weight, you would be eating at a deficit from your current weight.

I . 120lbs 2. I feel I look my best at that weight 3. I guess maybe 115, then gain muscle and get up to 120-125 4. 150 5. Hard one for me, I've been as low as 98lbs back when I was 19, I was depressed and not eating, definitely don't want to be that thin again. 6. 137 7. 148 8. 5'5

I love my Charge HR. I've only had it for a little over a month, but I think it's an amazing device.
-
Then you are probably eating at matainance and not eating in a deficit. I weigh myself every morning.

Good job!

I gained weight while on depo because I also had a very stressful job during that time and was stress eating. I hated depo because of the constant spotting. OP, 85lbs is extremely unhealthy. Please reconsider your goal weight.
