As I said earlier, my diary is for me... I have it open mostly for my friends, and because other than people being rude about it I see no reason to have it closed. There really isn't another way for me to log it... I could log each ingredient individually, but that would make my diary very hectic and confusing... and take…

No matter how fast I lose, if I eat at maintenance once I reach my goal I will not gain the wait back. If you don't care how many people have confirmed... are you a doctor? What makes you so much smarter than all these other people? What are your qualifications?
-
I only have to cook them for 20 minutes instead of an hour which is awesome!

I already addressed this quite a while ago.

Sweetie, you don't have your profile public so I don't know how old you are, but from your picture you can't be that much older than me. I've talked to MANY people on here who have confirmed that I am doing what I need to. What I'm doing is working for me. I feel really good, I'm always as full as I need to be, I'm getting…
-
Why does it have to be faster? Because as long as I'm doing it healthily I want to reach my goals as fast as I can. For the same reason people do a 4 year degree in 3 years. As long as I can do it without hurting myself why wouldn't I want to? Sure, I could lose .5 lbs a week and take 10 months to get to my goal. If I can…

It's not "too aggressive". No matter how much weight you have to lose, from my research, as long as you're not consistently losing more than 2 lbs a week there's nothing wrong with it. There is no time limit for how fast or slow you have to lose weight to be successful.
-
would not recommend. You may lose the 10 lbs it claims, but it is not a healthy way of doing so, and you will probably put the weight back on anyway. As my boyfriend is a former marine, I can tell you that the military does not condone this either... It's something people do to meet fitness goals quickly for the same…

1200 calories is not "much too low". I gave MFP my information and that's what it gave me... I didn't change it at all. You're right, I could probably lose weight at 1500... but 1200 does it faster. I lose about 1.5 lbs a week. You can't say it's much too low just based on the information you have. You have no idea how…

hmmm... that's really weird. I clicked on a thread earlier and it said I didn't have permission... maybe just wait a while and try again?
-
OP, go to "my discussions" it should be there
-
How is she supposed to link it if she can't find it?

But, for real, I could eat that a couple times over as well... I was the kid that went to an all you can eat buffet and eat regular food, dessert and then go back for more potatoes. A big part of my weight loss journey has been about learning to acknowledge when I'm full. I made two meals worth, and the other half is in my…

And OP, I'm sorry this thread got so derailed... I really didn't mean for it to end up being all about my food and eating habits. I hope you find a way to both enjoy what you eat and remember that food is fuel.

I'm now a little worried that I'm not feeding my fish enough
-
Where do you get these massive crackers?! lol, I kid... but 1.22 oz is almost 35 grams
-
for just the meat I suppose a little under 2 oz
-
I'm only 5'4" and I am 34C and it seems on the larger side of average for someone my size... so if you're really 5'9" 34C definitely isn't curvy... also as many people have mentioned, your measurements don't add up to a 34C. And a size 2 at your height really isn't curvy either... I'm not sure anybody could be considered…

The "obviously" made it sound a little rude to me. I stand up for myself because I often have people assuming I don't know what I'm doing because I'm young.
-
also I guess I forgot to subtract the weight of my silicone muffin cups which is 9 grams... so yeah, closer to 61
-
I measure in grams (because they're smaller) and they were 70 grams each with all the other ingredients.
-
Thanks, guys! It's been really hard, but when you really hate the way you feel and look it's well worth it. Although I'm only 20 (21 next month!) I'd rather do the work and get there now when I'm 20 lbs overweight than when I'm 40 and dealing with raising a family, having a career, and trying to lose way more.

Isn't the whole reason many people are on MFP is because they don't know what correct portion sizes are? Also, yeah, maybe they're a little lower than a general serving... but when you're trying to lose weight you have to have smaller servings to enjoy some of those foods. She did NOT except that she was wrong. And she's…

I put it up as an encouragement to the OP that you can still eat delicious things and things you love. Yes, other people questioned me, but YOU'RE the one who pushed the issue even though I explained a couple of times that my calorie count was completely accurate. YOU'RE the one who said I wasn't eating enough protein even…
-
I could change my macro goals, that doesn't mean I could actually reach that in my actual eating. And the fact stands that I don't NEED to. I eat plenty of protein in relation to the calories I consume. You make it sound like crepes and breadsticks and chocolate and pizza are bad things. Maybe they don't fit into your…
-
kind of like how even though I had already explained how accurate I am you still insisted that I was probably eating more than I thought? Or how you assumed that the portion sizes were small? I can see how since your calorie goal is higher you may think those portions are kind of small, I suppose... although I still think…
-
60 grams is enough because my calorie goal is 1200. Your calorie goal appears to be 2000 so more protein is required. It's a ratio, there's NO way I could reach more than MAYBE 70 grams of protein and still stay under my calorie goal. You're upset because I said your eating was boring, but you eat that way because you have…

I have my diary open so that people can see that you can still eat yummy food and lose weight (I've lost 5 lbs in 3 weeks), unfortunately there are always people who think they know best even though we all know it's CICO and balance that helps you lose weight and be healthy.

I ate 3 breadsticks for dinner because I ate a really large snack and my parents surprised me by showing up at my apartment and taking me out to dinner. (and since that's a 2 hour drive for them and they just came to fix my car I couldn't really say "no") I still had 50 grams of protein that day and my daily goal is 60. I…

It may also save some calories that I don't put any topping on my meatloaf (I HATE ketchup)
