  • Cheat days cause me to crave more, so I don't have them. My wife tried a cheat day for her birthday last year and it took her 12 weeks to get back on track. It's playing with fire in my opinion. Some people do them and it works for them. It doesn't work for me.

  • Here's my meal the other night - Ribeye w/smashed Avocado and asparagus w/Parmesan cheese. The steak was broiled instead of grilled and wasn't as crisped up as much as I like. It was good though.

  • Welcome to the forum. Lots of great people and info here. Your macros look pretty good. I would agree with @auntstephie321 that maybe drop the protein a bit and move it to fat. I try for 5% Carb, 70% Fat, and 25% Protein. But people tweak it to what works for them.
  • Great start! But don't be discouraged if you stall for the next two weeks. It takes time for your body to figure out what you are doing with hit. Some people don't stall, but many people do stall after such a big loss in their first week. Stick with it, you are doing great!

  • This is interesting. Never heard of Kombucha before. I do love my tea though, so may have to check it out.
  • Yeah, Cheese and Heavy cream is why I am not true Paleo. Everything else about it is spot on and I normally eat meat, veggies, seeds, and a few berries, but the cheese and cream is tough. It's worth losing a bit slower and keeping the cheese.
  • On my trip to Europe and back I didn't have any issues at all with the seatbelt. And the tray table fit down in front of me with no issues at all. In the past, the seatbelt would be tight and the tray table would have to push into my stomach. No problem at all this time. Made the trip much more enjoyable.

  • Welcome back, Ellie. I've fallen off of LC about 5-6 times already. I'm back on track and close to hitting my lowest weight in over a decade. I've still got a long ways to go yet, but this board is really helping me stick with it. Keep up the great work!
