All I did really was eat at a deficit to lose 1/2 a pound a week and walk my dog for about an hour daily. Over the summer months I ran, but nothing extreme maybe 3 miles or so. This is my progress so far and it's taken me about a year to get were I am now. I have lost around 40lbs and I am currently eating at maintenance and doing stronglifts. I am debating on doing a slight deficit again this summer to lose extra body fat (belly) before my wedding in October.

Seeing a picture of myself and realizing how far I let myself go. There was a disconnect in my mind with how much weight I was gaining when I looked in the mirror everyday compared seeing myself through a camera lens. It was a real wake up call!
