Exactly my point - I have seen some in the community with similar stats as example above and keep thinking to myself there's no way that's accurate? I think it lends to the concept of consumerism - companies want to sell these things so hence the claims that they can accurately track your cal burned are inflated.

I would look at any advice they offer ( provided it's constructive) as a way to further my progress - use it to your advantage!

I too had a total thyroidectomy but it probably saved my life as I had stage 4 thyroid cancer - btw can barely see your scar - skip 4yrs to today totally cancer free on the right dose of synthroid ( so important as you said ) and 2 mo into my w/l journey - almost 10lbs down - can you tell me more about your routine? Whet…

I have been on 1575 c/d for about 2 mo now and have lost close to 10 lbs - I average about 1.3lbs per week - I think if I ate any less it would be counterproductive -I lift 3x/wk and do HIIT 2x/wk - I too felt my weight loss was really slow as others mentioned but I realize that I am right on track - slow and steady wins…

Going through this right now - honestly everytime I feel like eating the following ( not in any particular order) help: - jump on the treadmill or go for a walk, - drink water - Chat with a friend - Take a multi-vitamin -( often when we are deficient in something - our bodies develop a craving) - Organize or clean…

I do this whole workout from home - you just need a barbell and some weights - other exercises can be substituted for cable crunches. Whatever equipment you don't have there is a substitution- google is your friend lol. Good luck !

Great work - are you on hormone replacement meds? (Thyroxine, synthroid, etc) you should check your doses if you are and make sure they are right ?
