It took me around 2 years but I lost 91lbs (240-149lbs) My entire life I had an unhealthy relationship with food, so this was a complete life changer for me. Btw everyone looks great!!

I'm 5'9 & started off at 238lbs. I'm currently at 159lbs (:! I have around 15lbs to go before I reach the weight I plan to stay at!

I get cold so much quicker! Lol that was the first thing I noticed after I lost a majority of my weight, I used to stay hot all of the time but now I carry a small jacket with me every where. That & of course, the infamous tail bone rubbing against EVERYTHING lol

Thanks! I don't mind sharing at all (: I did it gradually basically. I replaced my fast food burgers with homemade turkey burgers & I also became a really big fan of websites like skinnyms.com & skinnytaste.com. There are more like those, but they have lighter versions of almost EVERYTHING including Mac & cheese! I never…

Thank you! My children have become bigger fans of drinking water over sugary drinks because they see me do it. Even got them to eat more vegetables lol (:

Thanks everyone!

Thank you!

Thanks! It'll be a COMPLETE success story once I get the last 25lbs off (:

The top two are before (around 240) & the bottom are after I lost 60lbs (: I still have around 30lbs before I reach my goal weight.

I walked on the treadmill at first, then got progressively faster at it (around 4.6-5mph) for at least 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. So far only that & following MFPs nutritional guidelines has helped me lost 60lbs since July.

You look awesome! Congratulations!

The 'after' picture was taken last month (= I still have 30lbs to go, but I'm down 60lbs so far!
-
You will! I didn't believe i would either, & that's honestly why I didn't try for so long. But it's possible as long as you stick with it, although that seems to be the hardest part. Lol but it can definitely happen!
-
Thank you! I definitely feel better about myself now. I'm finally coming out of my shell (:
-
Definitely! I didn't realize the difference was so significant until I looked at pictures from before I started. I was slightly embarrassed I'd let myself get in that condition. But I just loved to eat, I mean I still do, but now I'm just more conscious of what I'm eating (:

Aw thanks guys! It's been a long road, but I feel so much better. I can't wait to see the end result. I haven't been this small in 4 years, & it feels wonderful!
-
Thanks you guys!

Yay! You look awesome!

Thank you everyone!

Thank you! My husband & I are thinking of trying strength training, but honestly have no idea where to start. Lol any suggestions?

Thank you! (:

MFP put me at 1450 calories a day to lose 2lbs a week with light activity. I work out 6 times a week, mostly just treadmill for 30 minutes at an incline of about 5 percent, so all in all I end up eating over 1600 with the calories I burn (: So far it's worked for me, I've lost from 238 to 206 since June!

Thanks everybody! It's been hard but I'm happy I've stuck with it & made it a habit to check labels. Once I meet my first goal of 190, I'll be 40lbs away from my final goal weight, & closer to it then I've been in 2 years!

I'm 5'9 as well. & honestly I may have lost if I hadn't had my 'wine day' at the end of every week lol. I was always scared to even try to lose weight after I had my gallbladder removed because I had read so many discouraging stories of failure, but I'm so glad I tried (:

Thanks guys! I have before and after pictures, but I have no idea how to post them lol
