I've had Protes protein snacks (chips) but I didn't think they were very good. I snack on roasted pumpkin seeds

I have been back on track after eating non-keto for a week vacation during Thanksgiving and I have made the decision that I will not be repeating the process again over the Christmas holiday. I'm staying in ketosis through Christmas and no egg nog, honey-baked ham, or holiday treats are going to stop me! Besides, I had my…

In a pinch I sometimes order a double cheeseburger with no ketchup and I toss the buns, about 4 grams of net carbs. Not sure if they do breakfast all day in the UK, but sausage patties and scrambled eggs could also be a good choice.

Grilled ribeye (medium rare) and loaded cauliflower. Sour cream not pictured.

This group and the comments in these threads have helped me talk myself down off the ledge many times. And I've also had my fair share of set backs during my 18 months of keto, but I have yet to give up. Thank YOU for sharing this! Great job!

I have lost 90 lbs in about 18 months on keto. Lost 80 lbs in the first year then spent about 6 months messing around and not really losing or gaining. The past month I'm down 10 with only 10 more pounds to go! 305 lbs to 215 today.

I love all offal. Been wanting to try calf or pig brains. I grill chicken hearts all the time. So cheap and so tasty![img][/img]

I sometimes have a Pure Protein banana shake with a tablespoon of crunchy peanut butter for dessert. Comes in around 5 grams of carbs and about 250 calories.

I came down with a cold recently and I gave in and had some comfort food that wasn't in line with my WOE. My NSV is that I am getting over the cold and getting right back on track and not letting the slip up(s) while I was sick derail me. It feels great to be IN CONTROL!

I have had similar dreams and have woken up angry with myself, only to realize it was all just a dream...

My girlfriend and I are both keto and we eat a lot of grilled meats. You get so much "free" flavor from the grill without having to add sauces or spices. The broccoli is just olive oil, salt and pepper. On the grill are pork ribs, pork steak, ribeyes, italian sausages and "dinosaur eggs" (jalapeno, cheddar cheese, and…

I have tried them all - cauliflower crust, pork rind crust, fathead pizza - but the chicken crust is definitely the best in my opinion

Fathead pizza has been one of my saving graces

Going to Schlitterbahn water park on June 29 and I want to look and feel my best. My goal is to eat properly and stay on track with exercising until then so I can feel like I earned the indulgence of the funnel cake, french fries, giant turkey leg, etc. I can't wait!

There's a thread in this group called "What does your low carb meals look like?" where you could find some great ideas for what to cook and eat.

I am coming up on the one year anniversary of when I changed my ways and started losing weight. May 4, 2017 will be one year and as of today I have lost 81 lbs. I am giving it my all these last two weeks to try to finish (the year) strong. I'm thinking about posting a before/after here and possibly of FB to hopefully…

I'm outta here too. Thread took a nose dive

I often start the day with every intention of going to the gym after work. Having my gym bag packed and everything ready to go really helps. But a lot of the time work becomes stressful and around 3:00 pm I am feeling like doing anything but going to the gym after work. I know it's a crutch and it doesn't work for…

Way to go, OP. I've been doing keto for about 4 months now. It's definitely not for everyone. I would say it's mostly a great tool for people with a lot of weight to lose and not so much for people trying to build muscle or improve athletic performance. I also don't see it as a long term plan. Something I have experienced…

It's crazy how similar your experience is to my own. I was told I couldn't ride a roller coaster also and had to take the "walk of shame". It was my turning point as well. Less than a year later I'm down 66 lbs with 30 more to go. Way to go man. You look amazing but I'm sure you feel even better

I was a competitive swimmer all through my youth until I graduated high school. I am 30 now and it has been several years since I last swam for exercise. Until yesterday! I lost 30 pounds doing keto without exercising and I decided it's time to start incorporating some cardio. It felt amazing to get back in the water and…

Taking control of your weight is one hell of an accomplishment in itself and you look amazing. But I am so happy you included the last part about taking control over the other parts of your life. You've inspired me and I hope your story continues to inspire others. Way to go!

I am down 30 lbs and though friends and co-workers may have noticed, nobody had said anything to me yet. I was starting to get a little down about it but then last night I got the first comment from my younger brother, of all people. I was surprised because it's a little out of character for us to compliment one another,…

I entered into a wager with 5 friends to see who could lose the most weight (by percentage) in 6 months. We each put up $300 so the extra $1,500 that could be in my pocket come July 31 (the end date of our 6 months) is very motivating!

I was on vacation and my girlfriend and I went to ride a roller coaster. After the ride attendant wasn't able to close the safety bar I was told I was too big to ride and had to take the walk of shame in front of everyone on the coaster and in line.
