You need to talk to your ObGyn as soon as possible and tell them the truth about your situation. Does your doctor know you only eat one meal a day? I know it is easier said than done, but your baby needs more than that, and the health of the baby needs to come first.

Good choice! Intervals are great too. Just wait until your body is craving to run further and further. The runner's high is the best!

My doctor said this too. If there is no underlying issue in your joints, jogging is good for you. Remember, soreness is not an injury.

I started running at 270 pounds and become addicted. I hated the idea but decided to give it a try on the treadmill one day. 5 years later, I was still running. It was the most relaxing thing I could do. I loved putting my head phones in and just going for a long run. Oh yeah, I lost 70 pounds along the way too lol.…

Oddly enough, after I had knee surgery I couldn't run anymore. I've had to change my focus to weight lifting and not cardio. I'm spending half the time working out, yet lost 10 pounds very quickly after making the change, and still losing. The inches have melted off too. I wouldn't have believed it unless I lived it, but…

Sounds like a bakers cyst. My doc found one in the back of my knee when I had surgery.

I would just repeat what most of y'all said, so I won't do that. I will say that the look and shape of your body would be totally different once you hit your goal, if you focused on strength training as well. And I actually just read an article stating that lifting actually burns a lot more calories than we give it credit…

I would normally just say tape it, but last time I did that, my toe bone shifted and I had to have the little sucker set. If it looks out of place, go to a doctor. If it's not, tape it.

I don't lose at 1200 calories. As much as you are working out, that is not nearly enough. Try eating more, it worked for me. My happy number is between 1600-1700.

Do you have a Mortan's Toe? My 2nd toenail always fell off from jogging, and it is incredibly painful. It is caused by your second toe being longer than your first. My podia at actually recommended shaving part of my toe down. Lol I was like h@ll no!!!! Now I wish I would have!

I had a knee scope three months ago. I am 35 and the MRI I had showed a cartilage defect that was bone on bone. The doctor scheduled a microfracture and biocartliage surgery to try and repair it. Once he was in my knee though, he found two additional areas of bone on bone, and a torn meniscus. He shaved the miniscus and my…

Hi! I have about 37 more pounds to lose before hitting my goal, but I was a lot heavier a few years ago and would love a few new friends. I started jogging/walking at 280 pounds, and now weigh 207 pounds. I had a baby a year ago and I finally got to my pre-baby weight yesterday! Now I want to get to 170 pounds. I make…

I was pretty in shape when I did the 30 day shred, and I did it 30 days straight. I dont think you need two times a day, and it might be a bit much, especially if you are running or doing anything else with it. Its a great program though!! I only lost a few pounds but by body changed as if I lost 20.

I would say yes. I find it really interesting to see my steps/calories burned. Myfitnesspal has my calories way too low, according to Fitbit, and my weight loss has agreed with Fitbit! Also, mentally it has made me much more accountable. That is a huge plus for me, but others may disagree.

Oh yeah, I do PT everyday at home, and twice a week at the clinic.
-
Yeah, well they said not to compare it to what I read online. People online said they were back to normal within a few weeks. Currently, my knee range is just at about 100. I think my good knee was 135, so I have a ways to go. Unfortunately I'm leaving for a work trip so can't go back to PT until next Thursday.

Good point...I'll update tomorrow!!

I know he wants heavy free weights. I could have sworn he said 100 lbs, but I don't know. I can't even lift most of what he has, so I don't use it. I guess I need to look when he is at work one day lol.
-
Ohhh, ok. That is interesting... Thanks!

Ok folks, I need you to dumb it down for me lol. Why is MFP/FitBit giving me exercise calories when I am not exercising? For example, I logged on this afternoon and have 273 exercise calories. I haven't worked out.
