I didn't really follow any specific program. I do did plan my meals a day in advance so I could get the macros and nutrient counts were they needed to be. I also got a book from iBooks called "Ride Your Way Lean" It's obviously for cyclists but is has awesome information in it.

Here is a link to my log. I know a lot of my meals are repetitive, but I love what I eat and I am a creature of habit. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/ShaneLynch1972

My first walk was a 1/2 mile and it was pretty rough. On my days off I get in around 10-11 miles. 6 in the morning, 3 after lunch, then 2 after dinner. On days I work I do 3 after lunch, then 2 after dinner. On my WallyBall nights I usually don't walk after dinner. I do drink occasionally. Love me some Coney Island Hard…

Bad knee pains was the last straw for me. I could barely function. My job requires me do use a ladder a a lot. It was bad enough being 388 pounds but with my left knee hurting so bad that I couldn't bend it made it even worse. There were some pretty tough walks those first couple of months but I just pushed through the…

From 6/11/15 to 9/9/15 my only exercise was walking. Then I started playing WallyBall once a week for an hour and a half on Wednesdays. Then I started playing on Sunday night too. From 6/11 to 9/9 I had lost 83 pounds just by walking everyday and diet change.

I stayed around 2000 a day.

The last time I was at this weight was when I was around 25 years old. It's an awesome feeling. I do have a little loose skin on my belly, upper legs, and just a smidge under my arms. It's really not as bad as I thought it would be. It's nothing like what I have seen on TV shows like "Skin Tight". I am truly lucky and…

From June 11th of 2015 to September 11th 2015 I lost the first 120.1 pounds of my 162.9 pounds lost. My only exercise......walking. :)

Not really annoying advice but when people assume because you've lost a lot of weight, you must have had "weight loss" surgery.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, and best wishes on your journeys.

I work 4am to 1pm so many have to get up early. That's why I break breakfast into 2 parts. The slim fast gives me vitamins and holds the hunger away to get to my lunch at 9 am, at which time I eat the second part of breakfast. Then when I get off at 1, I eat my lunch then go for a walk.

Thanks!! It's been an awesomel journey so far. I haven't done any weight training, I really need to though. Until I discovered WallyBall in September, the only exercise I did was walk.
-
Thanks again everyone!! I am now 6.5 pounds away from my target and something tells me it will be the hardest 6.5 pounds I will ever lose. I will get there though. :)

I buy clothes now, not just because they fit me and I have no choice, but because I look good in them and they look good on me. I am sure a lot of people here can relate to that. Lots of wonderful people here. In their after shots, as well as their before shots.
