I would hope that if I got to the point my weight was an issue that my husband would tell me. I know before he does when I gain or loose weight and I know what I am stuffing into my mouth, so it's not like it should come as a shock. It's not like a bad surprise and you suddenly wake up one morning having gained a…

I want the series 3 Apple Watch!!! I'm kind of geeking out on it. I have a Fitbit Alta and I like it!

Eat what you like, be painfully accurate with your logging and remain at a deficit and you'll loose weight
-
We ate like crap but we always had money for booze and the things we wanted at that point in life. Had food and decent food been a priority then it probably would have taken priority over cheap Tuesday at the bar.

Unlink Fitbit from MFP and vice Versa then re-link both and it should work
-
I agree I did set a super aggressive goal and I know I will loose a bit of muscle but I'll dial it back to a slower pace in a couple weeks. Just needed a kick start of sorts

I'm confused by some of the previous posts because I'm 5'2 and a half (I round up to 5'3) sw 141.1 cw is 133.7, goal is 120 and previous pre-husband, pre-kid weight was 115-120. MFP gives me 1200 calories to lose 1.5 a week at sedentary , and Fitbit says as long as I maintain a -750 calorie deficit I should be on track for…

You work your butt off to get your TDEE up to 1800-2200 and maintain a 500-750 calories from that
-
you can, but probably not the wisest choice long term for a healthy body and long term sustainability

Cheetos.. drumsticks of any flavour..... Starbucks fall and Christmas drinks....

On a side note watch the documentary "that sugar film" it shows what a mt. dew habit has done to people's teeth. I lost my love of it right fast

35 female Sw 141.4 GW 120 Burning 2200-2400 calories a day ( in a perfect world) and trying to maintain a 750 calorie deficit

You do realize tonic is pretty much the same calories as regular pop right? My guess you're underestimating the calories you're actually taking in. Eating more does not make you lose more in any world

Any powdered shake mix or protein powder Kefir..... my husband keeps buying it I keep throwing it out once it has lived in the fridge longer than anything should. Healthy things I just have never liked: Brussels sprouts Kale Couscous Internal organs Fat free anything Ground chicken/turkey Oatmeal, cooked or overnight

Mojos... and a resturant called Bonanza... and the old school ladies wranglers

If you'd rather be lazy and relax then this isn't something you really truly want. If you really want it then you will find the motivation and other people won't be able to influence you or impede your progress

I'm married and 35 and if I ever called my mother a bi**h for any reason I would be dead after she was done with me my sorry carcass would get it from dad. I tried once when I was 13.... once. Mom still has the wooden spoon that showed me the error of my ways. You don't have to like your parents but you do have to show…

Ohmigawd yes. My food can not touch on my plate. Unless it's Chinese then it looks like a dogs breakfast but I still only eat one thing at a time. Yet I can dump mashed potatoes, stuffing, chicken, corn, gravy and cranberry sauce in a bowl and be perfectly happen but if they were on a plate they wouldn't touch and one…

17 pounds to lose

To a point yes, but I think that our bodies use the calories from real whole food differently than they do from processed, sugar filled foodstuffs

Everyone else has had great advice. I do not. All I can say is suck it up buttercup. You want to lose weight pull up your panties and do it but don't just sit there and complain about what you have to do to get it done. If you actually want to do it is a journey, if you don't it's a long row to hoe and you and a crappy…

I will! I've got about 20 to loose. I'm 34 & 5'3, 137 I want to be 118-120. My husbands bad habits have become mine, and I tend to finish or pick at my kids stuff
-
I'm 5'3, 34 and according to my scale 138.8. My goal weight is 118-120. I bounced between 115-120 from 16 until 28, then baby came and the baby weight and poor habits stuck around
-
I'm 34 & 5'3 ish, and I'm anywhere between 133-138 depending on the day. I want to get back to 118 ish. It all seems to be residing in my butt and thighs, and it seems absolutely impossible to loose it from there! And so hard to see results which gets frustrating and generally causes me to say screw this
-
Same here, daughters 6 and I still have all the 'baby weight'

I'm in :)
