US sizes always make me do a double take, too (also on that note in the UK we now have a size 4, the equivalent to US size 0. As it's been a while since I went shopping I only just realised this. Aren't I fast? >.<). Currently as of yesterday I weigh 153 ibs and am 5'6. I did some trouser shopping, and being that I have…

Congratulations on your loss. From the looks of your profile you only have 2 ibs to go, so a short term calorie restriction shouldn't do you any harm :). You're young, enjoy life!

I don't actually have a problem drinking water anymore as I've gotten used to it. From my personal experience I found my habits and tastes changing as I began to eat more healthily. Whereas the idea of a glass of water seemed so boring and unappealing a year ago, now I tend to have a bottle or whatever close by. Some…

Not wanting to be hateful, but I honestly cannot stand people like this lol. She has a point. It's just a shame she has to hamfist the point into dust, jump up and down and jump some more. Just yet another vile and hateful Youtuber with no really intelligent or insightful knowledge into the subject.

Amazing and inspiration story, thank you. I wish you luck on your goals to come, and congrats for what you've achieved so far. It's wonderful you're forgiving and appreciating yourself now.

Yep, same story lol :). I hit my dream weight when I attended university, then was very silly with things like Starbucks coffee, wine and chocolate and started off this year as a size I've never been close to in my life! For 2016, I aim to be that "dream weight" again and stick with it. Best of luck, and wisdom comes with…

I'm currently 155 ibs (female, 31, 5'6) as from my previous weigh-in a couple of days ago. I'm half-way to my goal weight of 120 ibs now (I started back in February), which is pretty exciting! I'm hoping to be around 130 ibs by the end of the year, but I'll take whatever I can get. So far I've found weight loss pretty easy…

I've lost a mid-sized microwave, and with another microwave to go (being pretty much smack in the middle of my weight loss). That doesn't seem much fun :( microwaves are useful. When I'm done, I'll have lost the equivalent of an Irish setter. I might celebrate by getting a dog :)

I'm not sure if I should post my results as I do alternate day fasting rather than 5:2, but I figure its similar enough. (31 y/o female, 5'6) SW: 182 CW: 155 GW: 120 I began fasting back in May, after losing 9 pounds just cutting back on sugar, alcohol etc. So far I've lost on average 6 3/4 a month, and guess it'll slow…

Honestly it's paper thin >.< actually not even paper thin, it's like that rice paper that even if you look at it it flakes and crumbles to pieces lol. I'm a very shy person and have pretty bad self esteem issues. I'm ok with that as usually it means I'm unlikely to offend someone.

Hey there, I have 37 pounds left to lose and would love most of that weight to be gone by the end of the year. Feel free to add me.

Please add me as well.

Usually I'm fine with fasting and don't tend to feel all too hungry. Today was an exception :open_mouth: . I was starving all day today, and had to distract myself. The moment I stayed still = the moment I wanted food, lol. Oh well, I didn't give into it. (Also, am I weird for not feeling hungry during that time of the…

I think I must have weighed somewhere in the region of 14 stone before the beginning of this year. I'm ashamed to say that as my confidence and self-esteem were pretty much zero I was content in wearing my boyfriend's clothing and didn't care how I looked. Now that's changing...well, recently I got a bunch of new bras etc…

Lol, I see that fitting into clothes again is a pretty popular motivation xD. That's my reason as well, I have literally piles of jeans and cute tops/ skirts I fit into when I was 120 ibs that I'd love to wear again.

I check mfp every day (I'm just a slacker with forums and stuff). Feel free to add me (I've been on my journey several months and am probably still none the wiser. oh well :p)

Nottingham here. Feel free to add me everyone :)

I actually save cash from losing weight. I do alternate day fasting, so my food bill has been cut in half pretty much. Aside from that - MFP, walks, and I never trust anyone claiming to have a "quick fix" for weight loss. OK, I', pretty sure I fell for some speel about green tea speeding your metabolism up by 4% or…

I came to be diagnosed with IBS in the middle of my A-levels. From then and up until my time in university I tried various drugs, but nothing really helped. If anything I felt more bloated, cramped and miserable than I did before so I stopped taking them. When I moved in with my boyfriend I began to relax more, and my…

Welcome! I've been doing alternate day fasting (not 5:2 I know, but similar enough, right?) for coming up to four months now. What I found is fasting makes my appetite decrease, so usually on non fast days I don't actually feel like ruining it. In fact I had a fast day yesterday, and this morning I don't feel hungry enough…

Alternate Day Fasting. It just suits me and over two months in its very easy and sustainable. Aside from that I use MFP to log everything I eat, not necessarily for weight loss as ADF takes care of that surprisingly well, but to adjust how much protein, fibre etc I'm getting. Not so much a diet however; I plan to everyday…

I was weighing myself every month as I have a bit of a phobia about my weight (I can't believe I got so big >.> I was so skinny in my teens and twenties). Now I'm getting a bit less obsessive over my size I'm considering weighing in every weekend to see how I'm getting on.

For what it's worth as I do alternate day fasting as opposed to 5:2 (I just prefer it), I tend to eat between 3-500 calories in fast days and my bmr (roughly 1500 calories) on the other days.
