I tried to stay as close as possible to 1200 calories a day. I usually had at least one day a week where I would "cheat", but I tracked everything I ate and drank and tried to make up for it the next day or by doing an extra run. I got a Fitbit on August 15 of last year and I've never had less than 10,000 steps in a day…

thanks everyone! The first pic is pretty old but I think its when I was at my max weight. I've been on MFP again for about a year now, but I was 221 August of 2015 and now I'm 155.5 :)

try eating less at breakfast, if you're not that hungry. My breakfasts are usually greek yogurt with chia seeds or a light english muffin with a tbsp of light cream cheese and it keeps me satisfied, all around 160-200 calories. I dont feel like I kill my calorie counts for a meal I'm not that hungry for in the first place…

I only do once a month so I don't get discouraged, its been great so far since June of 2015

I only weigh once a month, so I dont get discouraged if I have a "bad week". You should do whatever works for you but be realistic :) good luck!

I have the same issue. I'm down over 50lbs, three sizes and every time I get a compliment I get embarrassed and talk about how much more I have to go. I'm 5'6", I started around 230 and am now down to 187. My goal is 150 (I'll keep going if I can once I hit it though!)
