  • Away overnight with no scales. Have been good 5 out of the last 7 days but the couple of days away (including fish and chips and champagne) mean i think I'll maintain weight this week.
  • No change for me this week. Been eating well and exercising hard so was a little disappointed. But I lost 4 last week and maintained this week so winning overall.
  • Have added. Am here everyday...and with 49lb to go you can expect me to be here for a while.
  • Cabbage and rice salad (serves 4-6 as a side) Cook 150 grams brown or wild rice to packet instructions. Slice up a raw Sping green cabbage really fine. Chop in 8 salad onions. Cover in juice and zest of half a lemon. Dry roast 50 grams of pine nuts. Chop a large handful of dill. Measure out a tablespoon and a half of…

  • Hot water with lemon, a large pinch of cinnamon and the same of ginger. Flavoursome and the cinnamon makes it naturally sweetish.
  • Open diary here too. 1600 calorie goal to loose 52lb slowly and forever.
  • Added! I also want to add friends. Seeing other people win at this is keeping me motivated!

That's way more than I'd expect because my calories would only have me losing 1lb. I've been eating lots of fruit and veg and fish as my only meat for the last few days and think I've lost water weight.

  • Me! I've lost then gained back about 40lb over the last 2.5 yrs. I've learnt the important lesson that I can't (and I know some people can), live without carbs in the long term. Now wanting to be sensible, get healthy and have fun. New friends very much welcomed!
  • Completely understand this. I am aiming to net 1600 calories a day and aim to save about 900 of them for the evening to allow for my tendency to over eat. I've found that brushing my teeth after dinner helps me stop snacking later in the evening. I also try to avoid tv so will cook for the next day, have a stroll or read…

  • Drink loads of water and eat raw fruit and veg. Some people swear by kiwis.
  • I'm a returning user having stopped tracking calories when I got to my goal weight 2 years ago...but then I put it all back in again. I am 31, London based and have an open diary. This is my first time trying a proper lifestyle sustainable change rather than low carbing. Happy to support and be supportive so please do add…
