When I joined I started that same day reading community posts. I quickly learned I wasn't logging correctly/accurately. I learned so much those 1st cpl of weeks. #1 get a scale with gram weighing. #2 weigh/measure EVERYTHING that goes into your mouth. #3 No measuring cups for solids. I added cardio & weight lifting. Now…

Great advice. I started this a month ago after reading other's posts & do it every 2 weeks. I can see where I've lost when comparing. Did front, side & back pics & did in under garments. Try to take in same positions for easier comparisons. Keep it up the good work, you can do it. :)

Totally agree. You don't eat there/like that on a daily basis. Hope you enjoyed every last bite. Log it, forget it & get back to your reguler routine tomorrow :)

When I want to make room for something I don't normally have I'll eat cottage cheese with tomatoes, egg white omelette with lots of vegetables, unsalted almonds, yogurt, protein (meat) in lettuce wraps then I ate healthy & can eat or drink in most cases :p what I want & still be within my daily goal Enjoy

Agree totally. To be honest I don't know how you know so much about this patient according to what you do, sounds like set up & clean up after surgeries. Privacy laws evidently not adhered to. :/

I would love to work at subway lol. All my favorite foods just not bread all the time but lettuce wraps. For you I'd bring your lunch when you want something different. Soup, your own hamburger pattie, some leftovers. You could bring cooked spaghetti & add meatballs to break up monotony.

I like you both lol. I've made room in my day to include my (2) 7 & dt. sprites, just not too often. Great on post, 200 isn't bad for a sweet craving.

I really love this. Great advice. My addition would be drink an ice cold glass of water when cravings hit you & read postings on mfp. Both have helped me get through my craving & know I'm not alone in trying to lose weight. Plus I've learned so much. You can do it, remember, you have all us cheering you on :)

Same as mitch16 here. Now I plan on taking at least half my meals out, home. Either I eat it for lunch the next day or hubby eats later that night lol. I just hate to waste food. I'm sure from growing up with not much but love. :)

Thx for sharin, Great post :) I've been been working out & eating healthy since May and down 34 pounds now. I've had my days of cheating with liquor >:) I really had to cut back on it but darn it if I want to go out and I have a couple too many drinks that I have not budgeted in I'm going to do it, I just don't do it as…

I've been on 2 vacations since I started eating healthier in May. Roughly gained 4 lbs in a week the 1st one & 2 lbs in 3 days the 2nd one. Didn't take long to lose as I started right back once home. Vacations are meant to be enjoyed & we definitely do lol. Heading to Vegas in 4 weeks. Staying focused on eating &…

You can do this, you've been doing it for over a year. I know having sweets in site makes you want them, I have this temptation in view too (hubby's & son's snack corner). it comes down to will power. I know for me the less that I have Of those things (sweets & starches) the less that I crave them so I just don't eat them…

Tomatoes, yellow squash, jalapenos, banana peppers & green beans. Too much rain so not getting much. I got some different things planned for next year reading what others planted. Yum
If you're trying to fit in beer and that many you're not in the right frame of mind to lose weight. When you really "want it" you won't be asking yourself or anyone these kind of questions you'll just know that it's a bad idea and you need to stay focused on your weight loss.
So true. I've been doing…

Hi Jennifer. I'm new to mfp also & my #1 advice is to read these community posts. I've learned so much from just reading what others have asked/answered . Everyone seems so helpful & knowledgeable having been were we are. I started June 1st & am down 30 lbs. Lost 8 in May b4 coming here. I started off walking then bought 5…

Yes, I log it. my husband and I like to go out on occasion and during the fall and winter we play darts on Thursdays so I have to budget in my liquor lol. I do drink less now that I'm logging. it was a shocker when I measured out an ounce and a half of liquor at how little it was cuz evidently i overpoured a lot. I've…
