  • Finished W6D2 last night and had a much better time than I've been having. I finally quit counting (I count in my head while I run), and feel like I focused on running so much better and even enjoyed a few moments here and there.
  • @Slainte831 i don't do anything on my off days besides normal work/parking far from places to walk more/ house work. I do add strength training on my running days so I can do both and still have days off. Its less laundry too (only 1 outfit/ 1 warm up/cool down).
  • I was having knee problems and thought maybe running wasn't for me, but I found some hip exercises online that help with knee pain. They relieved the pain by my next run and I haven't had trouble since. If you're interested you could probably just Google hip exercises for runners. Hope you feel better!
  • What are u going to do after that? I'm at week 6 in the same program and have thought about trying the 10k program next but I'm not really sure I like running, lol.
  • I did w5d3 on Sunday and was amazed I did it. I did w6d1 today and went into it with the mindset it would be easy because of the walking breaks. I was very wrong. I completed it but it was HARD! I don't think I'll underestimate a run again. Its better when I know its going to be a challenge and mentally prep for it.
  • @cazbit i feel you! I had to repeat days twice now and I try my best to focus on the effort it took to try and the amount I did accomplish instead of the really small part I couldn't do. Your body worked hard for you and you listened to it. Everyday makes us stronger. Even when you don't reach the goal, you're miles from…
  • Finished w5d2! Didn't want to. Got up and sat in my workout clothes 40 min before I got myself out the door. It was not a bad run at all. The 2nd 8 min run was hard toward the end but not the "life and death" struggles I felt I was having in previous weeks, lol.
  • Just about to start w5d1. This is the week I've been nervous about approaching. However, now that I'm here I realize every week is the hardest thing I've ever done until it gets harder and then looking back it doesn't seem so bad anymore. I can't wait to be looking back on w5!
