  • Drink lots of water (try to aim for 2-3 liters a day) & try to find your trigger, then learn to deal with that (this may take some time, especially learning tom deal with it any other way than eating). Understand that eating that one bit of cake isnt the end of the world, of at all possible try to keep it in you kcal…
  • Thats a good idea, I have started trying to walk whenever its actually possible to do so. For me the app only adds the withings calories. if I dont logg the exercise (and even then it only does it sometimes) but personally I dont really mind since I see it as bonus calorie burn so I won't be tempted to eat them back ;)
  • Been there. Great job not gaining, when I started getting in a major blah mode I gained so much, you should be proud of that. :) Im adding you, feel free to message me if you ever feel yourself slipping/ just need someone to listen :)
  • I agree with missusmoon, dont bindge on anything (its hard I know - I still love through the struggle) just have a little indulgence every once in a while, also, pizza doesnt have to be bad, try making one yourself (its really not hard and that way you can controll whats in it and load it with healthy goodness, or not ;) )…
  • Sounds like a plan batman ;) I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder a while back and started trying to live a healthier lifestyle to help cope with it a little better (after my GP suggested it). Feel free too add me and message me whenever you like :)
  • Woops -yes I meant half the weight loss goal (so around 1450-1600 kcal a day) thanks for point that out & clarifying ^_^
  • I know how you feel, Ive rencently been diagnosed with anxiety disorder, and when I just started (just over a year ago) I felt the same way, I think you might just be a littlw overwhelemed by the newness of it all (as was I when i started) I was really worried about annorexia and orthorexia (never developed anything), I do…
  • Getting confident about your body doesnt just happen overnight. I would say that positivity exercises help for me (although I will also say that Im not super confident yet, im still working on myself both body and mind). Its all about letting yourself think about your body in a good way, one exercise I do is where you…
  • I love Carly Rowena, The lean machines, joana soh (these are all trained to be personal trainers I believe), and the baking mad gym addict who is amazing to watch  Will definetly check out some of those mentioned above :)

  • Its good, about to go do my 2nd day (if my cat will ever get up -yes Im still in bed :p). I must say I do feel a little sore in my shoulders (since I rarely train those :p ) like you the first time I did thr 30day shred I was sore all over, But hang in there, it can only get better, after about a week of working out It…
  • I felt the same way when I first did it :p - I dont know how far you are along the c25k but if you are still starting out It might be good to try - and stretching afterwards will be great :p (edit: also fitnessblender has a great stretching routine to ease sore muscles) I do think that for people who have never done…
  • Currently watching this show called "Fat Chance" Its quite interesting to watch since it does deal with the mental and physical appearance side of weightloss
  • Well your problem seems to be that you eat 770 calories :p Id say try to plan your meals ahead so you dont overeat too much on one meal
  • Drinking lots of water is a great start (like 2-3 liters a day) and warm drinks (like a cup of green tea). It might sound a bit counter intuitive but bulky-foods help (so load your plate with vegetables or fruit) you will feel fuller longer...also look at the back of the label, high fiber (and protein) foods will help you…
  • I try to always keep loads of veggies and fruits in the house, so that even if I get an urge to binge at least I dont have immediate access to a whole load of junk food - like I will still make an easy wrap veggie & cheese 'pizza' - or I still eat peanut butter (with apple or banana) - but at least it is relativey…

  • Good luck both of you :) feel free to add me if you want :) How are you tracking calories for the 30 day shred?
  • I love 30 day shred - Its a really good full body workout - the first time I did it I alternated between the shred and a couch-5k training program with sundays rest - it was a bit hard to maintain after a while (because then it was like 2 months of dedication) but definetly worth it. The workout it a lot of fun -although I…
  • Will check it out for sure :) Recently I did a yoga workout on fitnessblender (also on youtube) which was really interesting :)
  • Personally im still working on overcoming it, its very difficult, anything can set the "binging urge" off. Somethings that helped manage it a bit for me were 1. Try to make some sort of meal schedule (and try to only have those foods in the house - so even if you do bindge it may at least be on relatively healthy foods -…
  • You have no idea how much I relate to this post (sadly enough) weight and bindge eating have always been a problem in my life (bindge eating for me started quite young). At this point I feel so discouraged and not sure what to do because I thought I had gotten some control over the bindge monster, when I first started…
  • Hey hey (so glad I found this group to be honest :p) Like you I binge in secret (like I will only buy and eat things that I know my boyfriend wont notice missing) , I will get in a mood that may or may not resemble a starving animal being given food for the first time in a week, and just eat whatever is around the house,…
  • I dont know if you have made up your mind yet, but I personally use the withings Pulse Ox, I do prefer this model because its accurate and doesnt need to charge as often as a fitbit (and is a little cheaper :p) and it tracks everything :p (steps/running , elevation, distance, kcal burned, sleep, heart beat, and time) I…
  • Sounds like a plan :) I'll send you a request , feel free to message me if you want to chat :)
  • (Also, any tips on moving around more would be appreciated, I would love to start getting to the 10000 a day more regularly )
  • Hey hey, I too suffer from depression and anxiety. Im happy for you that you found a balance that works :) feel free to add me so we can motivate each other a bit :) I found that in my journey healthy eating and exercising does help a lot when dealing with controlling depression and anxiety - ofcourse the biggest struggle…
  • Make one, and instead of ice cream use a frozen Banana and/or unsweetend almond milk (although i personally like the banana for a thicker texture) and cocoa powder - It might taste a little sweeter but for me it satisfies the craving - and is a significant lower calorie count :)
  • I know how you feel, felt the exact same about a year and a half ago actually. My doctor actually told me that the whole "the pill makes you gain" is a myth though. I personally havent used that pill but if it makes you feel that horrible my advice would be to stop using it ASAP, its not worth it if it makes you unhappy!!!…
