Dana Carpender has an awesome book that I love except that the receipes make a lot. I prefer not to cook food and then turn around and freeze it (just not as texture friendly as I'd like), but most of the recipes make 6-8 portions. Hubby and I will eat 2 portions each max before we're sick of it, so we freeze anything over…

Down about 2.5 lbs this week :)

Welcome!!! I'm on a 110 lb weight loss journey (maybe more, we'll see when I get there). I weigh in Wednesdays, but I should be down a little over 20 lbs. As much as I wish I could wake up skinny, I try to remember that it's a marathon and not a race, I didn't gain weight overnight and it's going to take time to lose it!…

I track net carbs (subtract the fibre out) but keep both net and gross VERY low. I'm almost always below 15g net, 22-23 gross.

We don't really measure much now (almost never, we can feel it), but I ordered a Ketonix a couple of weeks ago as we both want to find our 'optimal'.

I ordered it a couple of weeks ago, hoping to receive it soon!

150, we'll see if I want to adjust at that point. I was 148 when I started dating my husband

I'm interested in it but am admittedly a bit nervous as I've read that IF can be detrimental for women (that they actually gain weight). I've also read that sometimes they gain for a few weeks and have a large loss at a month, so I might try it for a month

I meal plan once a week. Ive entered a large number of recipes in advance, but if any are missing I'll add them then. Then I go grocery shopping. I stick to the list and do not deviate. It's not a lot of fun on meal planning night, but its an hour or so of frustration and I'll run a movie in the background or something…

I'm down 3 lbs this week (my 4 week mark). So thrilled. I was down 1.4 lbs last week and was disappointed since it's still so early in my weight loss. Down just shy of 19 lbs in 4 weeks, hoping to hit 20 for the one month mark (Saturday)! 90ish lbs to go!

whoops I checked in the morning and then didn't record it. I was disappointed, only the third week and was down 1.3 or 1.4 lbs. Which I know is good, but I thought with 110 to lose it would come off a little bit quicker in the beginning. My husband lost 5.7 lbs, didnt help the way I was feeling. Starting to feel much…

Thanks. I think I've pinpointed it to bacon grease... seems like that's the consistent 'WOAH that's not even slightly close!!' trigger. Ground beef is leaving a big variance as well, but seems like bacon grease is the one that's leaving huge gaps.

hahaha, so true. We're very new to it (2 weeks) so we still give each other strange looks as we read recipes. How about "could you please get the butter out of the fridge, I'm about to make our coffee".

My husband and I are yoyo dieters for sure. The first week of August last year I was 205 lbs. We were well underway with eating low GI, and then we went to a funeral and ate carb-loaded regular food and didn't look back even though we had been doing SO well. I found once I went back to work the end of February and stopped…
