I make sure to put it in a small cup so it actually looks like it is over flowing. lol. It helps me throughout the day to keep from eating…
  • I restarted running in Aug or Sept. and so far I have lost 43 lbs. I still have a long way to go but I'm getting there. I even took off nov - Jan of calorie counting but my running helped me maintain until the holidays were over. I started at a 14 min mile and am now down to an 11 min mile for 4 miles (I have even gotten…
  • Normally when I go on my runs I either go by myself or my husband gets on his bike and we put our son in the pull along cart. But last night he wanted to actually run with me so we put the kiddo in the jogging stroller. I ran at a talking pace (which I've never really had a "talking pace" before so I am super excited!) and…
  • The other day I had to stop for a potty break on my run and a worker there yells out to me "You're a BOSS! keep it up boss!" Then looks at the lady next to him and says "Every day or night I see that girl out running"....I walked out thinking "you know what? I AM a boss hehe" . Then a few min later that same person happen…
  • I promise you that any "real" runner would NEVER make you feel bad about 1/4 of a mile! The running community is so supportive :) keep it up!!
  • I am 5'8". when I was younger I was 120 (I played a TON of competitive basketball on multiple teams so all I did was run and jump lol) I looked sickly. When I was older I bumped up to 160 and I thought I looked healthy :) My goal is 160 again.... MAYBE get to 155 or so but the 140 range is just to much for me I believe :)
  • Noticed my yoga paying off in both strength and flexibility while I was in bed with hubby last night ;)
  • I got a new P.R. for my run of 3 miles. I ran a 10:34 pace for all 3 miles :) When I started running again in Aug I was closer to a 14 min mile. I am so excited!! I really want to get under a 10:00 pace someday.. Hopefully in another 6 months I can post on here saying I made that goal ;)

  • Fit into my first pair of goal jeans! I have about a month before I wear them in public bc they are low cut and in an area I lose the slowest but I'm still excited!!!! The button and zipper weren't holding on for dear life either!
  • Had a neighbor tell me he "commended" me for running and that I was looking good. :) it was an older gentleman and it was a compliment not a pick up line lol. Felt good to be noticed by a stranger that I have been working hard

  • I went for n easy run today and my husband and son tagged along (he rode his bike and my done rode in the thing that attaches to it) about 1/2 way done my husband said "wow you have a great pace going!" Made me feel not so slow (even though I know I am and an OK with that lol).
  • Idk why but I love this quote " if at first you don't succeed, fix your ponytail and try again " even if that means I miss a workout or made some not so great food decisions :)

  • I realized today that I have almost completely snuffed out the ugly voice in my head that tells me I can't! Instead I now have a BEAUTIFUL voice that says I can! On my run this morning I came to a hill and that ugly voice said "you can't do that" but immediately the beautiful voice chimed in with " yes you can! And you can…
  • I do enjoy my life very much :) but to me it's fun to throw in something special I wouldn't normally do. That way when I REALLY want that cake I can think to myself "but your so close to your next goal and guess what that means????" Helps me build my will power :) sometimes I time it up with a goal so I have time to save…

  • Enjoy your time improving yourself and spending time with your family! Don't worry about the house. Like the other ladies said, it's only going to get messy again :) maybe you can get your daughter involved in helping by making it a game once a week :) (I'm not sure how old she is) that way you get family time, fun time…
