Another really important question for you: do you have symptoms of thyroid problems? The reason I ask is that my levels always - for decades - came back as "normal" even though I had low thyroid symptoms. But when I went to a naturopath that tests with muscle reaction rather than blood serum levels, test results showed I…

I'd suggest you consider a supplement without calcium carbonate. That is literally chalk and it is not well absorbed if you are looking for a calcium product, there are better ones out there. Pure Encapsulations is a good brand. Swanson Vitamins is a vendor I trust that has excellent savings.…

I do not know about your product, but my naturopath has me using Trace Minerals Fulvic Magnesium. I think the product is very helpful. I know they make an electrolyte mix and it has a huge number of trace elements there.…

@kmhaley81 - I'm sure you don't feel like it, but 2.5 years is short. My baby weight stayed on for 16 years...and that baby grew also! Indeed true story.... too many conversations with others asking when the baby was due. Didn't want to embarrass them by saying, "hey, I'm not pregnant, just fat...". So, keep up the logging…

@lithezebra - what proportions of the 3 are you using? and can you bake with it? I know you can with the first two, but inulin?? and where do you purchase inulin?

I second the Carbmaster yogurt, especially the vanilla. If you take some of their flavored yogurts and put in some unsweetened coconut, it's really tasty and fairly low carb. And, they did offer me some nice targeted coupons on the mail for lower carb options.

google recipe for one minute flax seed muffin. Since the flax is ground, possibly you could tolerate it. It is very filling and relatively healthy with tons of fiber.

@winnie141 Thanks - they let me come home yesterday. Sooo happy to be resting in my bed. , The 5.0 level sounds very acceptable! And I'm ready to join you for normal life!

Even though it was in the printed directory to not allow food storage in the room, the nurses did bring in a dorm sized refrigerator for me to put my low carb yogurt in. So, even if the rules say one thing, it is worth asking a nurse "what if..." Oh yeah, and IV placement hurts like **** for a bit. Ask for those pain drugs…

@wtskinner, I'm not as LC as most, so it isn't as critical. However, they just weighed me and I'm up 4 lbs so must mean that I was in ketosis since I know I haven't actually eaten that much. Glucose this morning was 119 and arm is looking better. Keep those prayers a comin' :)
-
@zcb94 - Truly, thanks so much for prayers. They just told me they likely need to switch IV sites. Praying now for that pain killer!

Since Christmas, my glucose has been all over the place since I am in the hospital, off diet, have an elbow infection and rapidly spreading cellulitis. The antibiotics are mixed with dextrose and those seem to alter my numbers by 20-30 points higher. I'll take your prayers for rapid healing as I try to keep my numbers low.…

yesterday 102. today 164 - raging elbow infection

I know you said you don't want artificial sweeteners, but is erythritol on that not list? If you are willing, the Bai5 drinks use it... and are flat out amazing. As far as Zevia, they often offer coupons on their website.

This morning officially hit the goal weight (to be what my 20 year old driver's license says I weigh) but no celebration for another 10 pounds or so.
