Bad.. 128 so I went to the gym to get on the treadmill and wouldn't you know it...my shoelace ties broke on my sneakers....ugh, so no great workout. Do I get to deduct effort for trying from the bad number?

I know what I am making tomorrow ... Love lemon bars. Thanks for sharing this.

Where can I find the recipe?

Much, much better than in the middle of the night (158 down to 105) after taking my Metformin. Two birthdays this weekend, so I know it'll be higher than normal.

@AshleyC1023 - happy birthday tomorrow :)
-
@robeylori - I'm in Phoenix and just found out that Sprout's here do carry it, but are also often out! They should make more of this stuff. Thanks for the helpful info.

118 due to stress eating. I confess to binge fest on the worst: Mt. Dew and biscuits. Surprised this number isn't higher.

Mine's in 3 days, so I guess I'll make one of those yummy items! Also, Denny's gives you a free birthday dinner - guess you could have it carb free and ask for no hash browns... (but doubt I'll be able to pass those up!) Happy birthday, @AshleyC1023

@auntstephie321 - I think I've been having computer issues all day long :( and the site seemed to ask me for only one kind -- yum! the brownie. Looking forward to having it - maybe even two of them ???? even one would be nice. Oddly, I found that Albertson's had them priced lower than all the other local grocery places.…

Thanks for posting this. Are they sending an email coupon or the actual bars to the mailing address, if you know?

@judyvalentine512 - you're making some good progress - yeah! :)

94 slept super late and did exercise yesterday. :) :)

I have not tried them yet but yesterday on Amazon kindle free list, I found several low carb slow cooker books free by typing in the search:low carb recipe, show lowest to highest price. Hope that helps. You can get a free kindle reader to use on computers, even if you do not have a kindle device.

101 this morning :)

I think you're maybe?? thinking about @sylvettecorprewharris

@judyvalentine512 What is considered 'good' may vary quite a bit from sources. I believe they now say that damage can occur at 140 and more. I'm trying for fasting @ 100 or lower. I think normal, non-diabetic range is around 70-80s. But, that is all relative to some degree. Keep it simple.. are you making progress getting…

well, 78 is certainly on the low good range. The carbmaster has 4 net carbs, so that should not help you too much on the energy since it'd take longer to convert the protein over to fuel. As far as exercising before eating, that can work if your fasting glucose is high enough to take the energy expenditure, but if you're…

130 - went to bed early and didn't take the metformin :(

100 this morning. @scottallentvh - good progress for a few short days... keep it up!
-
@rebeylori - which Sprouts? in Phoenix??? I have to go to the store and most of the time they are out :(
-
@ki4eld - is there a trick to using the xanathan gum? I know mixed with water, it turns in to the slimiest mess I've ever dealt with. And are there a lot less carbs in xanathan gum than in cornstarch? And THANKS for giving specifics - I know what I want to make now for dinner!
-
@landiodo - what recipe did you use to make the tacos? Being in AZ, I've GOT to find a substitute. Are you looking for a plain tortilla press or the kind that presses and heats them up at the same time?
-
@neohdiver - those are very good points. Where did you see this study? As a diabetic, I'd really like to investigate that further!

Sodium chloride is regular table salt, right? If you are needing potassium only, then the NuSalt is a great, low cost item. Magnesium and potassium both help with cramping. But normal magnesium can have digestive issues. Unless you invest in the fulvic magnesium, which doesn't cause this issue. Things like Gatorade have…
