Just got back for round 2 this winter, lost a bit of mass over summer so hoping to cut down the fat and bulk up a little!

Hey cmtristani, Well done you!!! That's amazing that you have managed to make such incredible progress, you really should be proud of yourself mate. I just wanted to start by saying that it might be worth not being to hard on yourself over this, you came off your sleep meds and still managed to get 4 hours. Sure it isn't…

Haha yeah it was overly ambitious and I was really new into hiking and training at the time, I learned a valuable lesson at least to not wear brand new hiking boots lol I do yes! I couldn't remember the name of them, the brand I got was Injinji, I'm sure there are others too but their quality is excellent. My toes aren't…

Hi meaniemeakin, I'm not sure if you are asking for a bit of advice on getting started with calorie awareness or not? If you are then my suggestion would be to start off simply by logging absolutely everything and starting to pay attention to the macro/micro breakdowns of your diet. It should help you to build a more…

Try to pay attention to your breathing during ab workouts, be sure to exhale during the exertion as doing this opposite could be the cause of what you describe. Just a potential reason, others have highlighted other possibilities above. Check out this video if you like :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kghVlbG3khs

I can actually offer you some advice here as I've hiked 43 miles in one straight 18 hour session and frequently hiked 30+ miles in one go. I hike the Cotswold Way trail. You can definitely achieve this though you may suffer some long term issues because of it. Do everything you can to ensure you have the best lightweight…

Well said, if you don't want comments then don't post. Jesse has posted his comments and we have all shared our opinions on those comments due to assumptions he is repeatedly making without any evidence to support them. Furthermore, your quotation isn't even of an opinion, it is a question.
-
Hi Jesse, I have little interest in repeating myself and won't make the same statement I did before, feel free to read back to confirm my maintained opinion of your attitude and judgments. I'm glad you admit that you have no idea what her financial situation is, you're half way there at least.

Hey FeedMeFish, A lot of similarities between our journeys and lifestyles so I thought I would share a favourite of mine with you. Personally I dropped from 12 stone to 9 stone 2 lbs. The weight left from a top down direction and even when I had abs, my *kitten* was still chunky lol Lots of great advice here regarding…

Ooops, I totally misinterpreted what the OP was asking for!

Hey Derek, Chest straps are superior to wrist monitors due to the way that they track your heartbeat. Though you may wish to consider a few other points when you make your decision. (admittedly I don't have a Polar so am unsure of their functionality so hopefully an owner can chip in with their pros/cons.) 1) The Fitbit…

These guys are completely correct if you are active outside, thanks for picking up on my recommendation error there guys! If you do decide to buy noise cancelling earbuds so you can enjoy the quality in other situation, definitely just have one kept in a time for your safety :)

Hey, Are you presumably looking for cardio exercises? Youtube is an excellent tool for those of us that can't afford much investment - https://youtube.com/results?search_query=pool+exercises That said, in my personal opinion, pools are a bad place to exercise for weight loss for one simple reason. Buoyancy. You are taking…

I am also completely in agreement with cecsav1 here. Jesse, you have absolutely no idea what OODone's situation is and have no right to call 'bull' on her statement. I also love a point that kas_chat makes, if finances are tight then it is a way more intelligent choice in my opinion to invest what money you have in higher…

Sorry I've no idea on that one as I don't count calories anymore.

Syncing takes quite a while as there is a lot of data to transfer. Try taking off the Fitbit, lay it close by your phone and open the app. Wait until you see the sync bar finish. A day of data tends to take me a good minute or two so a week may take a bit of time.
-
Definitely not advised if you exercise on roads :P I love blocking all that nasty noise pollution out, though yes definitely take some extra visual awareness!

I did the entirety of my strength training at home using nothing more than dumbbells, body weight and a pull-up bar. The big issue I see here though is your mentality to be perfectly honest "Oh, and if its too hard I tend to give up easily!!" You're going to get out what you put in, if you don't want to work hard then…

Best of luck with this :) I would just like to suggest that anyone looking to take part takes some time to research how to do sit-ups. It might seem obvious but avoiding an anterior tilt is really important for your own health. A little video for anyone interested :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5BpvYGyVb0

I invested in a set of these, Monster iSport Victory. There is no way they will ever just fall out, the sounds is amazing too. Ambulance went past with its sirens on and I couldn't hear a single thing, could just see the lights. Fairly pricey but you really do get what you pay for here.

Hahaha that is hilarious, I love the way they make fun of it at the top with '100% movie accurate', 'Just like the real thing' and my favourite - 'Some fog - Fully poseable' xD

-
Well in that case do you prefer smoked or unsmoked bacon?
-
But then it would just be me logging in to look at pictures of myself naked and covered in bacon, that's just never going to be as good as seeing it in the mirror innit.

I'll buy a three pack, thrice the progress.
