What I know now that I wish I knew then was, get my gait checked and get the correct runners! Also use a heart rate monitor if you have access to one, just work out your different zones and stick to them, stops you worrying about mins per mile, there is plenty in Google about finding HR zones. Happy running.

Ah good man Damian, I did the marathon about 8 years back I was only new to running then.

Yes indeed, not a bad half marathoner and I find it hard to turn for home when I should, just love being out there running.
