  • Thank you @mrsfitzyv8! You nearly made me cry!! It's only now I'm losing the baggage (along with the lbs) that I realise how much I was carrying! :)
  • I had a date with a really cute and lovely guy and I didn't feel like I didn't deserve his attention! :)
  • One of my colleagues complimented my dress today (I've worn it before but not for a long time, I guess it is pretty stretchy). Anyway, I thanked her for the compliment and then she said I "looked very *searched for word* ... skinny... today!" (Yey for black tights!) I can't think of any other time that word has been used…
  • Yesterday a really sporty colleague came up behind me and asked me if I had played sports in high school. I laughed off the idea and waited for her to tell me an anecdote from her training (I had presumed she just wanted an opportunity to talk about her sport). Then she told me she was just wondering, because there was…
  • 100 days logging today! Had a big family Hallowe'en party yesterday. At worst I ate at maintenance, but I think I actually kept a smallish deficit - depending on the accuracy of exercise calories. Those 98 "practice" days of logging and portion control beforehand must have played a part!

Maybe try a few as a test in case your frozen veg are processed differently! I'd hate to ruin your…

I think they actually roast faster than fresh veg (something to do with how the freezing affects the cell walls maybe?). I tend to toss in a…
  • I managed all my reps/sets at the gym today. Last time I could do a full set of everything, but struggled to complete three sets consecutively. Today I did it! :) I love how clearly I can measure my progress, it's so motivating!
  • This thread is so amazing! I joined a gym last week and have gone pretty regularly since then (whenever I was wavering I read a few pages of this!). My lack of upper body strength in particular surprised me at my assessment. One of the exercises I've been given to do every other session is tricep dips from the bench. I…
