• If you do not have a medical reason to go low carb then just stick with what you can in your calorie goals. By saying "last time this way worked" that implies that it wasn't sustainable so try to use a method of weight loss that is sustainable, and enjoy the carbs and how they make you feel.
• I usually eat pretty balanced, but on my really hungry days (TOM, harder workout, etc) I have found that I just want to eat so the more food and less calories the better! I love brussel sprouts and will roast an entire bag of them in the oven which actually keeps me full. I also love to stir fry veggies with chicken, skip…
•
I'd prefer to think of it as "back to normal." :)
Ha! Good call. I thought more like work, as logging at this point is normal, but I agree! :)
• You enjoyed your wedding (congrats!) and now it is back to the grind. Even if it WAS that much (which is isn't) who cares? YOUR wedding is a good excuse to cut loose! Now you are back to real life so focus back and you will be fine! A couple of pounds isn't going to set you back if you don't let it.
• I tend to stay right around the daily recommended amount, but part of the nature of reducing calories seems to be higher sodium some days. I have a few that I go over and I don't sweat it. However, if I have Chipotle for lunch and stir fry for dinner I do hold water for a few days and the scale will jump up, but it always…
• I had a mini goal to fit in my lowest weight pants that were in the back of my closet, I finally got them on and zippered and they fit perfect EXCEPT now they were so out of date! Go figure! You work so hard to get back into them and when they fit you are like "I wore these?!" Ha ha ha!
• I am also a fan of vodka sodas with lime and flavored vodka and soda. Just keep in mind 1 oz of *most* spirits is 65-70 calories and a "shot" is usually 1.5 ounces and is more on the 100-110 range! A bar will usually use the 1.5 shot, not a 1 oz so make sure to log accurately.
• That it feels great to take a hot bath and have the water actually cover your whole body!
• Congrats, you look stunning! And good for you for knowing it takes time, and even bigger congrats for keeping at it!
• I'm the same as most people above where the less I weigh the less it takes to drop a size. So it was about 20-25 pounds to drop one size, then only another 10-15 for the next and now with the last 5-10 I am just about down another size. Obviously the range depends on the clothing company. I like Old Navy's pixie pants and…
• I'm incredibly intolerant to milk proteins so I just avoid it at all times. There are so many substitutes (almond, coconut, soy on occasion) that it isn't that hard for me. I just feel so much better without consuming dairy as well.
• Congrats! You look amazing!

• Before and after my 40 pound goal. Hoping for another 5-10, but if it doesn't happen I am happy where I am now!
• Congrats! That is great news and good job for finding a lifestyle that works WITH your body, not against it!
• I like caramelized onions! Adds lots of flavor with low calories and carbs.
• I do a weekly "official" weigh in on Friday morning, but a "stay on track this weekend" weigh in on Monday morning. I feel like doing it twice a week, right before a weekend and right after tends to help me make better choices during the weekend especially, but worry less about constant daily fluctuations.
• I took progress photos through the MFP app starting in February and when I updated the app in July it deleted ALL of them. I started taking them again and saving them off the app (glad I did as my last update also deleted all the ones I had saved since July), but missing those months is hard because I do like looking where…
• That is what I have also have right now. It is not great, but I'm maybe 3 more servings away from being done. I'm still looking though! I feel the biggest issue is that they all come in bulk which slows time between orders. I try and get sample pouches or single use pouches occasionally to try new ones, but still come back…
• I am incredibly intolerant to any form of dairy and both egg yolks and whites and eat vegan about 80% of the time as I don't eat red meat and hate preparing and sometimes eating chicken. I second the above poster with post punk kitchen because everything she makes is amazing, however not always waist friendly - but good…
• Wow, that's amazing! Congrats!!!!
• I get shrimp and vegetables. It comes in a broth sauce with garlic and I don't feel gross after eating it!
• Can you do a variety? Do your usual workout when you get the chance, but like a Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 or 30 Day Shred when you are short on time or just don't want to leave the house? I have been doing those mixed and feel pretty good about my results over the past year. That way you still get something in, but…
• After years of doing Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred workouts when I needed a quick one I never did Workout 3 (the last of the workouts). Well today I did and I was able to do the whole thing with only 2 workouts adjusted for beginner. Happy dance NSV!
• Congrats! You look stunning and so much happier! Losing with PCOS is so rough so extra congrats on that!
• Be careful of roasted nuts as some of them have egg whites as a coating before the spices go on! Honestly I bring a granola bar and drink spiced wine. It's easier and usually more waist and wallet friendly.
• In February I was only looking at counting calories and while I lost weight it was extremely slow (5 pounds in 5 months). Then in August I also started watching my carbs and reduced those slightly while ALSO counting calories. That has worked remarkably well and I have lost another 28 since then. Just calories works for…
• I'm the same way. Borderline pretty much everything, but nothing a doctor will look at even though it takes me FOREVER to lose 1 pound (I'm 9 pounds down in 6 months, but still better than nothing!) And I also do not cheat, stay at 1200 and do cardio and weights. The best advice I can give is try to look at the actual…
