Yes, yes, and yes, a good day. I will make the winner's circle, only 2 days left in August both could be pass days and I would still be in. However my plan is no pass days.
-
I expect to make the winner's circle this month. Have taken only 1 pass day, and do not expect more. Today was a yes, yes, and yes day. It was a good day!

I'm back. This will be my 6th month with the UAC and it has been very good for me. I have lost 200 lbs, and the last 50 or so while on the UAC. I am now in maintenance, a whole new challenge. The UAC helps, a lot. I don't see how I can make the winner's circle in September, I have a vacation planned that will take me out…

I can give you my theory, but with the warning that I have no expertise beyond my own experience and a bit of reading. I think its natural, instinctive even, for us to crave the quickest easiest calories we can find. And then to eat all we can. I think that trait served humans well for the first million years or so of our…

Yes, yes, and yes. A good day. Only one pass day so far, looking good for the winner's circle this month!

Yes, yes, and yes, a good day. Two pass days left, think I will be alright. And I am in for September, thanks for doing this Rick.
-
I want in! I doubt I can make the September winner's circle. I have a couple of vacations planned where exercise and logging in may be hard, but I will do my best. I am pretty sure I can stay on track eating. The UAC helps me even in non winner's circle months. Thanks Rick!

Just to eat right and get some exercise today. Connie, feels good to take the old too big stuff to Goodwill doesn't it! I was a regular for a while. As I gained weight I saved a lot of my too small clothes, boxes and boxes. As I lost it was good to have them. As I went through the boxes on the way down I got rid of things…

Yes, yes, and yes. A good day

One more thing, I am not in OA, but am familiar. I got the one day at a time idea there, it is a great one!

I believe I was born with BED, never recall a time in life when bingeing or wanting to binge was not a problem. I have been binge free for about a year and a half now, it has been a key part of my weight loss (200 lbs since peak weight a few years ago). No magic about it, I just stopped. I did it and continue to do it just…

My goal is to get to the gym today, and eat well.
-
Forgot to mention, I am down 200 lbs from my historic high, so I do have some weight loss experience. No particular expertise beyond that though.

You are off to a great start! Good for you. Yes, many of us loose a lot more weight in the first few weeks of a serious diet, its not all fat some water, some just less mass in your digestive track. In my case I settled down to losing on average about 2.5 lbs/week. And I think that is about as fast as weight loss gets…
-
Yes, yes, and yes. However the exercise was limited to a bit of yard work. Did not feel great today, but nothing serious. Back to the gym tomorrow, assuming I feel ok.
-
Yes, yes, yes! A good day.

My goal for today is maintenance. And I think that will probably be the case for the rest of my days. I may try to be more specific in the future, but this seems a good place to start. A bit of a repeat from my introduction: I am Rob, a 67 year old man and I have lost 200 pounds. A few days I weighed in at 160 pounds for…

Good for you, on the loss! How much weight do you want to lose? Two years really isn't too bad, and what better could you do with your lifestyle than lose weight? You are off to a great start!
-
Yes, yes, and yes. A good day! Only 1 pass day so far, its looking good for the winner's circle!
-
Yes, yes, and yes. Yesterday was a good day.
-
That's what matters most!
-
That is a really good way to get started. I find that the better I track things the better I do. Gotten to the point that I think about every calorie that way. Best of luck to you!

It is possible, and having folks here who have done it will help you see what is possible. I have nothing against surgery or people who get it, I understand and considered it myself. But it just wasn't for me. You can do this, I know you can and will!

Yes, yes, and yes. A good day. This morning I was down to 160, 200 lbs below where I began. A milestone day.

Hey all, NovisDies invited me here, so here I am. I did not know this group existed or I would have been here sooner. I am Rob, a 67 year old man and I have lost 200 pounds, as of this morning. Today I weighed in at 160 pounds for the first time in over 50 years. It sure feels good. I have been overweight pretty much since…
-
I hit exactly 200 pounds down this morning! A real milestone for me. The UAC and you folks have been a big help in losing the last 50 pounds and MFP has been a big help most of the way. Thanks y'all. I am working into maintenance, have been for about a month, so not trying to lose more.

Yes, yes, and yes, a good day.

Yes, yes, and yes, a good day. And I think the exercise quote is great. Doing exercise for your fitness makes more sense than your weight. It will help with the weight, but cannot replace a good diet!

Yes, yes, and yes. A good day.
