  • Just what ninerbuff said..... Not enough going in. It will take a while to reboot your metabolism too. You might find it takes 3-6 weeks before your body realises your feeding it well and drops fat. X
  • I too have an autoimmune disease, I'm 100,% sure i hold more weight because of it. I can be on 1200 cals a day, exercising daily and it's hell getting it off. I avoid all processes carbs to avoid water retention, please try...
  • Yes, without a doubt. Whether it's a cycle low, or just a i feel crap day..... Especially if you've been putting loads of effort into eating and exercising well, sometimes i think it can be exhausting having to monitor ourselves....
  • Lol.... Now I know why some posts have kitten in them! Lmao....
  • Oh yes, we can build if u eat like a mad protein obsessed builder.... But ( no pun intended) anything to work your *kitten* will make it rounder, firmer, and reduce fat. Don't lift to heavy to start, trust me you don't want to injure yourself....
  • I completely agree I'm a certified personal and group trainer, IKFF CKT, blah blah blah. Doesn't mean anything other than we know what to do how to teach, but you must also have an understanding that everyone is different. Different things work for different people. Cutting down on high saturated fats, processed foods and…
  • I'm in, but I make meals fresh with more than 3 ingredients. Unless u mean 3 food groups? :)
  • Hi I am Paula, 37 mum of 4. Need to lose loads. I have a weighted hoop which has maybe 5 bumps along the inside. I just find it hurts my abs after 5 mins.....
  • Well I best come out then. I'm a qualified PT, I teach 2 classes a week currently and just like yourself I used to do more. I'm a qualified kettlebell instructor too! Again it's about finding the time, and as you guys have said, grabbing the easy to go food. It's odd I'm usually really good at meals and food, but once…
  • I pay no attention. I haven't the time tbh. 4 kids, hubby and job keeps me busy.... Desperately trying to avoid chocolate.... My vice
  • Not true. Sorry. Yes the weight has to come off from somewhere. However, muscle gain will only occur if enough protein is consumed. If someone goes on a stripping diet ( burning fat but eating loads of protein) they can still put muscle mass on and lose fat. I've worked with many body builders and they've lost pounds, yet…
  • I don't disagree, we do all make excuses. Sometimes it's easier to get moving. I loved the gym, and boy it did get me in shape. We won't get a dog as we r about to move home ( relocate) and we have old cats lol. However I've decided unless it's torrential rain, the car stays at home for the school runs. My back is still…
  • I train in one way or another 6 days a week, so I burn calories, and build muscle to burn more. I have no problem including foods I like, but my reference to will power is my actions to not eat 10 biscuits, or 3 Mars bars, 2 doughnuts etc. I comfort eat, never used to, but I've noticed the pattern. I have four kids 4-16…
  • Thank u. When I lost two stone before years ago, I allowed myself a small treat each day. I have started that again after posting the above. I am extremely strict in logging my foods, I sometimes don't understand how supermarkets can say a low fat tuna sandwich is 300cals..... Mine would be more like 200! Either that or my…
  • Thank you for all your welcome comments. I'm sure Giovanna was just trying to keep my head straight. I waited an HR and gave in to a little not a mountain of chocolate. I've eaten great all day everyday since new year, and if I've slipped up I've made up for it with extra exercise or cutting back else where and I've lost…
