I tried Plated on a promo that gave me one week free. It was great and gave me great recipe ideas.... but it was ridiculously expensive and very labor intense. Each meal was around $12... which I think is high.

I started as an obese runner and now consider myself an overweight one. It was the best decision to start C25K. Go buy yourself some cute running clothes, good shoes and listen to your body. I stayed on week 2-3 for 2 months to prevent injury. It empowered me and truly who gives a #%*# what others think, this is about you.…

Feel free to add me. I have lost 45 and have 50 to go.

So today I really paid attention to my pace and such. I did C25K often running and my heart rate was up there. I really pushed, had 15k steps and my workout was 45 of total push and today exercise recorded at 10 min total. Truly makes no sense to me. Used the activity app, made my heart rate elevate, etc.

I have had both saucony and broke ina wide width and have had great luck with them. Beleive it or not you might find good deals on eBay just search your size and width and make sure they are new.

Thanks. Perhaps I am walking too slow.... I will attempt a faster pace. It was certainly a workout pace for me.
-
I use the workout mode... but it still is not recording when I walk... only if I run for a few minutes. Seems off to record so little when I walked and also some days I have had a lot of steps and I have been really active. Not sure what the issue is.

I use my instapot (electric pressure cooker) and it solved the problem.

Thanks....good to know. I used to spin often but my schedule has made attending classes quite limited. I am considering this for an early morning workout, especially in summer when it's too hot to run outside in AZ. So glad to hear it was a great purchase.

Would love to hear more about the bike. How was set up, do you do live or on demand classes, is it for all fitness levels, etc.

I love it! Being overweight my entire life I was programmed to think that I can't run. I am down 45lbs and on week 3 of C25k.....but have been doing it for a month. My first 5k is in Feb. Not sure if I will walk it or combo walk/run. I actually try to walk 10 additional minutes after the 30min is over so that I get more…

I eat everything....but only when I have room from a calorie perspective. I am down 45lbs since August and this is success for me at age 51. I truly believe it's because I stopped suffering with crazy diets that made me eat like crazy after deprivation. So to answer your question, yes I eat some junk....but not a ton in…

I have lost 44.5 lbs in about 5.5 months. The key was logging everything, eating all food groups, and walking 2-3 miles 5 times a week. This is the most successful I have been (I am 51) and I think it's because I am done with crazy diets. I just now started couch to 5k so I am hoping to add running to the mix.

Fabulous... Thank you.

Thanks Julie.... Now to figure out why I am so chicken to try the thigh.

It is great to see some activity on this thread. I started at the end of July and am down almost 45 lbs , which for me is pretty incredible. I am at the 2.4 dose and most likely will stay here. I had difficulty with every increase so I did it very slowly. I literally ramped up to the next dose one click a day vs going to a…

What is the hype all about with Lenny and Larry's cookies? Is it the fiber, protein, taste? Also... I have yet to see them... are they only available in a health food store? Price? Iam curious as I keep seeing these mentioned...def. want to try.

I bought a pair of Marc New York fleece lined leggings from Costco and they are perfect for cool nights in AZ. They were only $16.99 shipped. I usually wear those with a 3/4 zipped top with thumbholes. Old navy has some great tops for a reasonable price. My favorite clothes are from Lucy... But they are pricey. I just…

I did it years ago and lost rapidly.... For me once I went off, I was out of control. I felt like I had to keep eating all the carbs I deprived myself of and would say "I'll start tomorrow" ... But never did. This time around I am doing calories in and calories out... I am down 43.5 pounds and feel like I can sustain this.…

I love my aria scale. The most helpful is the way it gives me a weekly average vs. just looking at daily numbers.

I have lost 40 and only recently have people noticed. What I notice about myself is that I feel so much better and walking is so much easier. When I started I cut a pretty ribbon the size of my waist and every so often when I don't lose like I want to I wrap it around my waist and I am amazed how many inches I have lost.…

I have been on it since the end of July and I am down 40. This drug has really helped me. Initially I was nauseated and I ramped up very slowly. My doctor had me go to the next dose one click at a time, rather than straight to the next number. I am at 2.4 and will stay here, doubtful that I could tolerate 3.0. I initially…

Pack your lunch for work.

Does anyone have any races they would recommend for a walker with generous time limits?

It slows my loss on the scale bit truly it really makes a difference in my measurements.... In the end I think you will feel better about yourself if you do both.

Congrats! This is a huge accomplishment and I think breaking 200 is a big emotional shift. That is what I have my eye on.

Sierra trading, sign up for the newletter and you will get coupons. I usually wait for a 40% off and then shop. I have gotten land End swimsuits for $14, Brooks running shoes for $50, New Balance thermal running tights for $30, Moving comfort bras, etc. Great deals but you need to hunt the site.

I need to log... sometimes I find I have more calories left than I had anticipated... other times I realize I am DONE, the kitchen needs to be closed.
-
I use it, mainly so that I know my distance/pace. I take the calorie burn with a grain of salt and feel that it runs about 25% too high for me.

I love P90 (not to be confused with P90X). I think they are efficient workouts, there is always someone modifying it, and I love that there is a timer showing how much is left of the entire workout and how much is left of the particular workout. Plus it tells you what to do each day.
