I'm 10 years out and have regained quite a bit due to bad habits and then surgery on my ankle that prevented me from walking, which was my main form of exercise. I know what you're going through. I'm 10 years out, lost 120 lbs and regained half of that. Have held steady at this weight for about a year. I know my pouch still works because I still can't eat a lot and have to avoid sweets, but my eating/drinking/exercise habits could improve drastically. It's a never ending battle.

When I say a food doesn't agree with me, that means it made me nauseated. I haven't had that problem very often, thankfully. Usually it's if I have something with too much sugar in it.

I'm close. I will be exactly nine years out in two days. For some reason, I've been thinking I was seven years out but it just dawned on me today that it's nine. And I completely agree that it's a continuing struggle. I regained 50 lbs. Way to go on losing the 25!

I totally agree with the other posts. The first few weeks are miserable, but they pass and are worth it.

I did lots of consignment store shopping and also bought some things on eBay. Stretchy fabrics are your friend. The nice part is you'll move into smaller sizes, so your clothes won't get a lot of wear and tear and then you can re-consign some of them and get some money back.
