I tend to drink peppermint or green tea between meals that seems to help. Sometimes I snack on the frozen mixed veg you can get in Iceland. Not cold obviously. Or cherry tomatoes

The key is to do more strength training. The more muscle you have the easier it'll be to maintain. As you will burn a lot of calories passively.
