I'm also in Arizona (Mesa to be exact)! I'm already sick of this heat!! I walk my dog at 5:30 in the morning and it's still freakin' hot. We invested in a treadmill earlier in the year, it's been a life saver for my running passion!

Just take it one day at a time, set small mini goals along the way. When I started 10 months ago, I thought I would never get there. I'm now at 95 lbs down and focus on tiny 5 lb goals, I'm still far from where I plan to be but it's ok. I also celebrate each milestone too! It's a long journey but so worth it! Enjoy the…

For me, it was when I read the book Savor by Thich Naht Hahn. The first paragraph in chapter one was speaking directly to me and everything changed. It's been almost 9 months and I haven't looked back once (91 lbs total so far).

I lose about 7-10 lbs depending on the month. (I'm down 80 lbs, and I hit my 7 month mark about four days ago)

I'm 5'7" - started at 320 in August and now at 244.4 lbs (a little over 6 months, lost 75.6 lbs). I'm aiming for 160-180 lbs, then will see how I feel when I get there.

I weigh daily but only log it on Friday (may move it to Saturdays soon). But I use an app called "Monitor Your Weight" and log it daily on there, it's a really neat app with extra info! :smile:

I'm 5'7" and started at 320, my goal is between 160-180 (I carry my weight evenly). Already lost 73 lbs since August (7 months). I walk, run, and do yoga! No diet, just eat less and move more.

I am also a walker! I aim for a minimum mile a day each morning but I add in a 5k usually once a week and sometimes I aim for 2 miles on my walks. My speed is around 3.0 - 3.5 mph, love walking! I'm actually doing my first 10k tomorrow morning and plan to walk the whole thing!

This is interesting! I'm almost 33 and 5'7", female. I started at 320 and I'm now at 250, I can jog pretty comfortably for the first 1/4 mile and then I start to feel pretty clunky like a horse haha! I'm hoping when I reach my first goal of 200 it will feel a little better, then more from there! (goal is 160 lbs total).

I used to go once a week only but lately I do daily, I like to see the daily changes (good or bad) since I tend to retain water really easy. Doing it daily helps me determine if I need to drink extra water for the day, but I still only count Friday's as my "weigh days" where I'll actually update my weight. :smile:
