  • I have had little NSVs here and there, but today I had a major one! I walked in to work today, and one of my co-workers said "Whoo, girl I'm jealous of you! You get smaller every time I see you!" She then promptly, asked how I'm doing it, to which I of course responded with the simple "Watch what I eat, eat healthier." "Oh…
  • 1. Currently I'm aiming for 180 2. That would be an even 100lb loss from when I started MFP, though I may aim to trim down some more once I hit that. 3. I suppose so, like I said, I may get to 180 and decide to shoot for 160. I've just never been that low, so I'll have to wait and see what I feel once I get there. 4. Once…
  • @Cbaker5156 - Finally, someone who understands me! I love grits! My favorite is grits with cheese and an overmedium egg on top, or even some bacon thrown in the mix, though it's been forever since I had bacon.
  • Almost the same thing every morning. One single-serve container of Phage 2% greek yogurt, a dash of chia, dash of ground flax, teaspoon of honey and a 1/2 cup of blueberries. Sometimes with a nature valley granola bar if I feel like it.
  • @Pinkpixie - Just the whole mind over matter thing, lol. @nichal - I've dealt with some killer cravings, but I don't think I could classify myself as a binge eater, thank God. Though I have downed a full bag of lays salt and vinegar chips before, lol, those suckers are my weak spot. I feel for you, we all have our…
  • @WBB5 - You know, that's a very interesting point! I've never thought of it like that. @aggielikik - While a dietician might be very useful, I would unfortunately be choosing between being able to afford the dietician and being able to afford food, lol!
  • @WBB5 - I think that's one suggestion that really does help. When I am zoned in on losing weight and getting to my goal it becomes all-consuming - something on my mind all day and that I daydream about. Not a healthy habit in any area of life really. But I have a great many other irons in the fire at the moment, so those…
  • Haha, I like *ding* too.
  • It's definitely an adventure! I feel like one of those paleontologists; chipping away at stone and brushing dust away to see what's hidden underneath. Lol.
  • Well, since working here I rarely buy or eat sweets outside of work, I used to have a huge sweet tooth, but now I just dont really desire them. The problem is when I get hungry and the most available thing to snack on is extremely unhealthy.
  • So far I've just been focusing on eating healthier, and keeping under/around my calorie goal. I think that I'll give it a couple months just focusing on diet, then I might start some exercise, probably weight training. Not good at keeping with cardio. The last time I lost around 40 lbs, and the only exercise was going…
  • :D My bad! If I was that tall I don't think I would need to be losing any weight....
  • Right there with you! I've got at least 100 to go, maybe more - I'll decide when I get there.
