I manually enter in the amount of time I workout or walk from the app on my cell phone into MFP, and if it says I burned 700 calories for the day, I won't enter the entire amount on MFP, I usually try going with half or a little over half of the reported calories burned from my app. Do you think that is ok?

Usually at the end of the day after I walk or go to the gym, and I enter my exercise for the day on MFP, the extra calories burned for the day makes it to where I am well under. My goals are to lose 2 lbs per week and I am now at 1250 calories per day.

OK, great, I just checked and my MFP is already set to sedentary.

Ok, this is somewhat what I am trying to ask in a post I started titled Pedometer. I just manually enter in the total calories burned for the day from my pedometer. Is it ok if the total calories burned are from a combination of daily activities and exercise?
