Thanks for the reply! I have been using coconut oil for my face and overall moisturizer but I am now wondering since usually dandruff is caused by a fungus or yeast if I should stop because they feed off saturated fats... I used to use Aveeno, I don't remember why I stopped. I'll have to get some.

Hmm...well a year ago I was living in my parents house with my husband and preparing for him to go off to officer's training for the Navy. Also I desperately trying to make the holidays the best one yet because I knew everything was about to change. Didn't go well but that's a whole different story...never has a Christmas…

Well...I think there might be a bit of truth to this. I was a bit constipated and bloated awhile back and when it resolved itself, I went back and checked my macros and I had subconsciously upped my fat intake for like 3-4 days, which seemed to fix it. I thought about it and checked back through my diary and realized that…

I make a mix of raw cocoa butter and unrefined coconut oil. I order them off amazon, melt them together about half and half and pour it into jars. Works and smells great.

I get irrationally angry at the hover board things, too. It's not like anyone's forcing me to use it, so it shouldn't matter to me, but just the fact that they exist makes me a bit disgusted.

When I started weighing my food I just used the serving suggestion on the package and went from there depending on how much I want and my calories for the day. A typical serving of meat is 4 oz., or 113 grams, but you could do more or less, depending on hunger and how many calories you have. I weigh the meat raw before I…

My husband is 6' and weighs 165. Before he went to officer's training last spring he was about 150, but he gained some muscle and fat while there. He's lean, but I wouldn't say he's super skinny. That said, it depends mostly on your frame. He's got a medium frame, so the middle of his bmi range works for him.

I was having this problem recently so I upped my fat intake and dropped my carbs down for a couple days and that did the trick. I hope you get it resolved, OP. Being bloated and uncomfortable is no fun.

You are not the only one. I can't go down very far at all without my heels lifting, I think it's an ankle mobility issue. I googled it and there are a lot of stretching exercises you can do.

I would stick with your original plan. When I started losing and it triggered my period, my weight started going all wonky and losses slowed way down. It took awhile for it to level back out, but it has now... Consistency is key.

My husband is in the Navy. We haven't done a deployment yet, but we have dealt with being away from each other for extended periods. It's tough. We moved far away from all my friends and family, so I'm using this time to work on me, too. You can message or friend me if you want. Good luck!

I log all my lowest weights.

I've been trying so hard to get that 1 there. Very rude of my body to be screwing with me at this point when I'm so close!

I weigh most packaged foods, and when I have to use a generic entry, I always double check online and verify that it's correct. I am trying to walk about 1.5 miles at ~3.5 mph two or three times a week. I eat back some but not all. And for posterity's sake, I just started that last week...ha. First cycle was 35 days apart,…

Yes I did go lower my cals manually to 1500 last week. The first month where I lost the bulk of the weight was at about 1650 (the first two weeks I ate at like 1800 to ease into it) and went down to 1580 as I lost before I dropped it a bit more. I guess I haven't changed though really because when it was higher I would…

Thank you! I actually think I'm going to stop daily weighing for awhile. I need to stop letting that number dictate my mood for the day...might have to have my husband store it someplace I can't reach! Lol.

It's OK, my husband laughed at me too. I can't take naps, like at all. If I fall asleep it's for at least 3-4 hours and I wake up super b*itchy. Naps do not refresh me at all.
-
So true for me...I have a tendency to go at things, as my dad says, "like a mad woman going to the sh*thouse". To make this work for me I had to take it down a notch so I wouldn't burn out and give up... But! You have to do what works for you! Go get it, OP and everyone else!

I sleep a lot too. 9-10 hours usually, and I sleep like the dead. Like seriously, my whole street was blocked off one morning due to a hostage situation. There were cops all over, swat team and news reporters...and I didnt know anything about it until I woke up and saw it on the news. I set a personal record last night, I…

Just to chime in one the Walmart scale thing: I bought the one for $15 (they went up a bit in price from there and the cheaper ones looked, well, cheap, or they weren't digital...) and I had to return it. The grams function didn't work. So, you are probably better off that you didn't get one there. An anecdote at best, but…

Good one! I love me some science...

Hmm...this may warrant consideration. I'll try a more neutral flavor for a bit and see what happens. Also, Google like crazy. Lol. Thanks for the tip.

I'm soooo close...hovering at 201 lately. It'll happen. Good luck and thank you!

Mine are both mutts. Ones a German shorthair/German shepherd/black lab mix and the other is a heeler mix. The heeler mix is a brat. Very opinionated and bitchy, but she can also be very cute and sweet. Definitely one of a kind. She also herds the cat around, which is amusing. The other is soooo high strung...like, she's…

Weight loss has stalled out Frustration is mounting, so For now, I will nap.

^this. I'm terrified for the next time I rap my shins on something. I know it's coming.

I made some really good split pea soup with ham.

Thank you! I know all this, but I guess I just need it reiterated to me occasionally... The drop off just seemed so drastic...I went from losing 1.5-1.75/week to 0.8/week pretty much overnight. I'm sticking to it, but it's getting frustrating. I thought I'd be less than 200 lbs by now. I forgot that I also switched from…

I went to a concert recently and over-zealously threw my hand up and smacked some guy in the face...I was very drunk at the time and I grabbed his face so I could look him in the eye to apologize. Idk why. He got away from me quick after that... Also, I peed in the parking garage that night, behind a pillar.

I just read through this whole thread, and my only take away is that now I'm wondering... Would clotted cream be similar to what happened when my brother was drunk and left the heavy whipping cream in the processor too long last thanksgiving? It turned kind of buttery.
