Dangit. How did I miss this? I scrolled through and just made the same post. Whoops.

I drink diet a&w root beer if I want a soda with no caffeine. It doesn't taste 'diet' to me. Otherwise it's diet dr pepper. Sidenote: our tastes may differ, as I actually like sucralose. I put it in my coffee every morning. I don't mind the aspartame in soda but I would never put it in my coffee. Bleh.

I aim for at least 90g. Usually around 25%, so not super high. My macro percentages are set at 45c/25p/30f. I mostly monitor it for muscle retention while losing and for keeping me satiated. Are you using a food scale for solids and measuring cups for liquids? The food scale has been essential for me for consistent loss.…

Do you have insulin resistance issues? PCOS and IR often go hand in hand, but you can have PCOS without IR. The low carb is recommended if you do have insulin resistance, but it would be worth it to find out if that's truly the case for you. I personally have PCOS with no IR, so I just stick to my calorie goal and focus…

I feel mine is pretty accurate. I have the One and I clip it to my bra. I usually eat what it sends over to mfp, at least when I can get them to talk to each other properly...but that is a whole different issue.

I had sporadic periods since I started having them at 15 y/o, diagnosed with PCOS at 19. I didn't have one for 9 months last year. I started counting here and losing weight and after the first 20 lbs down they came back and have been coming regularly for 8 months now. Although, about a 35 day cycle instead of 28. So, since…

Mines been weird lately...like the other day I had 13000 steps and it added 0 to mfp set at sedentary. Makes no sense when usually it gives me 100 at least for that many steps. That many extra calories does seem excessive, though. I personally would not eat many of them back.

I was a fat baby (8lbs 3oz, which isn't huge but I was only 18" long, lol), chubby as a child, and by the time I graduated high school I was definitely in the obese category. I remember shopping for jeans in 4th grade and none of the girls sizes fit. I had to buy a ladies 10 petite. I think the why of it is that my parents…

I haven't lost quite that much, 44 lbs, but I've gone from a 40c or d depending on brand and style, to a 36c... Quite a difference. Another 15 lbs and I'll probably be in a 34c, my newer ones are getting looser already.

Today I am officially just 'overweight' according to bmi! I have been in the 'obese' category since grade school. Keep up the good work!

When my husband proposed, we were only 18, him barely even, and I basically said ask me later...way too young, lol. He didn't even have a ring, but a picture of one he wanted to buy, ha! He never really asked again. I asked him one time much later why he didn't just propose and he said he wasn't going to because last time…

I don't usually gain, maybe a lb. or so if anything, but I sit at the same weight for a week and then what I should have lost comes off after it's over. This happens during ovulation as well.

I love this illustration. I can tell when one's coming soon for me because the fat in certain places gets pebbly and weird. OP, I know how frustrating this process can be, but I swear if you keep doing everything right, it will come off. I've been sitting at 181 for almost 2 weeks now, and in that time I have had a 500…

I use a lemongrass eo spray I make to deter mosquitoes and fleas on myself and my pets...tea tree oil is great for fungal infections and a lot of others just smell nice. Most of health cures are pseudoscience and hype in my opinion, though. Also, keep in mind that a lot of the oils are toxic to pets, especially cats. Don't…

I think it might work well for some...it wouldn't be the program for me mostly because of the religious aspect. And I'm not a drug addict or alcoholic, so there's that. I've always felt it was strangely cultish, and I strongly disagree with the powerlessness aspect. I have family members that do it and they can be a little…

I always weigh bread items, they are usually wrong. If its +/- a few grams I won't bother messing with the math, but sometimes it's really wrong. For example, I had a brand of tortillas that said a serving was 130 calories for 1.5 tortillas, 48 grams. The actual weight of EACH tortilla was more like 65 grams so if I had…

Tortillas said serving size 1.5 tortilla, 48 grams. Actual tortillas were about 65 grams. Not even close, haha.

I don't care for Krispy Kreme, I've just never understood the hype. The local place where I grew up are still my favorite. I always make a point to stop in and get one hot and fresh in the morning when I visit home. Fry's Bakery in M&W Market, Nyssa, Oregon. I like my donuts simple, cinnamon and sugar or just glazed. Maybe…

Arms and back. Mostly my arms...I feel that most of my body has decent proportions, but my arms are huge.

I have wide feet, like stupidly wide. My foot shrank a bit after 40 lbs lost, but still very wide. Was EEE now just EE. Almost impossible to find ones in a woman's 8 1/2-9 that aren't ugly or super expensive. I actually have a bunion forming on my left foot from wearing too-narrow shoes my whole life...

I don't shave because I personally prefer not to. I get itchy bumps that make me miserable for days. Also, I smelled worse when I did shave and I could feel the sweat more, which grossed me out. My husband has super long underarm hair (no joke, some are like 2 inches) and he never has BO. Ever. It just comes down to proper…

I'm 5'5". And thank you! ETA: I did take official before pics, but I'm in my undies in those so they are for personal use only, lol. My sister took the one above so it's a particularly unflattering one. She's good for that. :p
-
For sure and thanks!! I'm used to the ups and downs now. I just keep going and the downward trend continues.
-
Good job! I lost 8 the first month, sometimes a couple weeks go by and I stay stagnant, so don't panic if that happens to you! Good luck!

I'm not who you were asking, but when I worked there the discount only applied to general merchandise. Grocery was not discounted.

Fresh tomato on biscuits and sausage gravy is awesome. I thought that was a normal thing but I mentioned it once at work and everyone thought I was nuts...

I drank a whole bottle yesterday. Not the end of the world.

Definitely double check. While making a recipe I typed in 'chicken breast, boneless, skinless, raw' today and the first one up was a per gram entry and for 852 grams it said something like ~350 calories...it's actually more like 900... ETA: it's now showing a more proper one first, but the phone app has been pretty…

One thing I haven't seen mentioned is clothing. A lot of it is stretchy now, so we don't have that everyday reminder of how our clothes fit. I have some jeans that I have reasonably worn in three different 'sizes'. When I was bigger they just stretched to accommodate, and when I gained weight I didn't really notice.
