Ah okay! I thought it was six calories an hour. Thanks for the clarification :)

I hate people who say you don't need alcohol to have fun. You don't need running shoes to run but it sure as hell helps.

I follow CICO - I eat what I want when I want, but I find eating low carbs makes me fuller so I can eat the same calories without having to feel hungry. At least that's how it's felt so far:
-
Being full on the same is actually super awesome, I plan and know I'd gain weight if I start eating carbs again. I don't mind.
-
Haha nice! In drinking about a gallon a day :P it's hard but I feel much better.
-
So I've done the low carb thing for over a week now, I feel much fuller on the same amount of calories. It's a lot harder to eat with restrictions though, I guess it depends if you're a disciplined individual or not. I can definitely do low carb if I wanted (and I'm thinking I might.)

Thanks, haha, I guess I started feeling guilty about always checking:m. Glad to know I'm not the only one. I use the scale the same way, track trends. I pay close attention to the water I drink too. Like today I've had 3L,

3 for breakfast 2 hard boiled for a snack haha :)

Surprised people aren't all over you about losing too fast. Haha, a good portion of that is likely water weight (but fear not I'm down 34 lbs in 6 weeks so I've managed to keep up what you've done for this long, it is possible!) Biggest thing is to not get discouraged if it starts to slow down, our bodies are weird. I've…

You got this! Weight loss is a marathon not a sprint. You won't see results over night. When I started I went to the gym 17 days in a row and felt so guilty and ashamed when I decided 18 days was too much. If you actually aren't seeing results there's a few things you probably should look into. Are you logging accurately?…

Thanks for all the info, I'll pass this on to him. I actually tried eating low carb today and yesterday and my calorie count had been the same but I feel like I'm eating more. Maybe that's just me. It's also really hard to pack a lunch I found, I spent 50$ on groceries that between myself and my girlfriend we almost went…

I hated myself for a long time, especially after regaining the weight I had lost (and I lost a lot.) I'm not sure what sparked inside of me to make the change but I did and I'm down 30lbs now. The journey is a long one, but I've been living by this mantra, "Suffer the pain of discipline, or suffer the pain of regret." It's…

Maybe you lost weight elsewhere? I do measurements arms, thighs, hips and waist. I lost most of my inches off my waist and hips and dropped from 38s to 34s (26lbs lost total) - I only lost 1 inch off my thighs, none off my arms.
-
I peed a lot. But I'm finding it much easier to drink 3L now. Today and yesterday were a sinch.
-
No not 2 a day. 2 one day, then cut it in half each day till in optimal. I dunno I just am really bad at remembering to drink.
-
I definitely want better definition but I want my upper body to match my lower body. I can nearly max out the leg press machine at the gym and I think a lot of that has to do with me being a tender for hockey for many years. My legs are huge compared to my upper body.

So what does endurance do? Like you won't get stronger you'll just be able to lift more? I'm doing 3 sets of 20 right now following a circuit. I think the goal is for weight loss because that's what my I signed up for the program.
-
I think the hanging leg raises was what I was going to suggest but I'm not sure what the exercise is actually called. I hang in the air and lift my legs up to my chest. They're killer and feel so good after.

I've seen a video saying most bars aren't that great for you for all the reasons you listed. I honestly need something high in calories though because I'm losing too much. Averaging 5.2lbs a week over 5 weeks. They suggested homemade bars as he best alternative :)
-
Mhm, I'm always watching :p I've been buying the protein bars at the corner store for over a month and I'm still seeing killer results in my weight loss journey.
-
Damnit I made the video, sent it to myth busters and then checked to see if it was flame able.
-
I've still got a huge thing of protein powder from 5 years ago haha. I didn't mind the taste though. Just don't like the mess of making drinks. Does powder go bad?
-
Yeah its weird running doesn't hurt my knees at all. Like I said it's like as they're spinning they're popping. Weird stuff for sure.
-
"Suffer the pain of discipline or suffer the pain of regret." That's been my mantra for the past 2 months. I heard something today as well that really caught my eye. "If it's easy, it's not worth doing."

I work in a restaurant and I yell at anyone who asks if I want any free food. They're all trying to sabotage me!!!! Haha, I actually do that but in a joking kind of way, I don't really have any advice other than maybe pack more snacks to work? I used to eat at work all the time but I have lots of munchies that I track…

I think the most common error I see people making (myself included) is underestimating how much we are eating / over estimating exercise calories and eating them back. That flow chart is amazing and o struggled to lose weight in the past - invested in a scale and started to lose weight. Was shocked at how much I was…

Also, maybe find some low calorie deserts with stevia instead of sugar. I can't tell the difference and it's a natural sugar supplement.
-
I don't know, I don't restrict myself and manage to stay under my calories everyday. Maybe you can still have your chocolates and desserts just cut back on portions? Eat a little less dessert or a little less at each of your meals to make up for the extra calories. Another solution is to burn off the extra calories if you…

No candy or cravings for it either. I'm in s competition and the first place prize is like 3-4000$ in goodies so every time I look at candy I go, nope, 3 more weeks left before I allow myself a treat every now and then.
