When you notice the relationship between the high sodium foods and apparent weight gain you may be tempted to cut back on sodium to make the scale look better. But you're just fooling yourself because being dehydrated may give you a better number on the scale but it does not mean you've lost fat and it is not healthy.…

I agree with KnitOrMiss, don't let the scale get you down. It is going to fluctuate and stall, don't worry, have faith in your protocol it work. Here is a graph of my weight loss- there are weeks I am stalled or going the wrong way. Still in the long run I reached my goal. Indeed it is sometimes an exercise in patients.

Breakfast- higher protein than usual - you could use less prosciutto and add heavy cream to the eggs or your coffee...

I had my gallbladder out six years ago; I've been on keto for 11 months. Every thing has gone splendidly for me- no problems with the high fat content.

This is only one persons experience - but here in graphical form is what I did and the results I got. I will mention that if I were using MFP's estimate of my caloric requirements my average deficit would be or 1500 cal/day. Using values I get from my UP app I estimate my average deficit at about 1200 cal/day. Also I did…

No I stick to the same macro ratio every day. The great thing is I never feel deprived and I don't get hungry so it is not hard to do.

When I started I was exhausted walking accross the parking lot; now I look forward to 5 miles or more each day. I feel great, it was every bit worth the effort.

I'm sticking with the same keto protocol, but increasing my protein some and adding more strength training to my routine.

Today I have reached my goal of losing 85 lbs. it took me 11 months, however I was losing 10 lbs a month for the first seven months; I took it a little slower after that.

I'm 10 months into this, I log everyday and have lost 82lbs of my 85lbs goal to date. My diary is public and I'm happy to be a supportive friend.

I'm in total agreement here; more fat! It's hard at first, I think because of how we've been programed to think fat is bad, but it makes the whole thing work. Butter on rib eye, heavy cream in coffee, blue cheese dressing on every thing - bacon, bacon, bacon you can do it!

Have you tried miracle noodles? The are made from organic shirataki and have virtually no carbs. I use them to make keto versons of "pasta" dishes and even Pad Thai. My wife likes them better than traditional noodles. Miracle noodle

I'm noticing a pattern here, and I'll have to go along with the consensus. I've been on a keto protocol for 10 months and lost almost all of the 85lbs I set out to lose. For the first six months I looked forward to a maintenance phase where I would add back in fruit and "good" carbs in some fashion. However, at this point…
