That's one of the things too! I have trouble with not eating one cookie, but eating a whole pack. With certain foods I cannot trust myself with. I don't just ever want one. That's so smart to kind of distance yourself from foods that you can't trust yourself with, until you don't see it like that anymore. Good tips!

You're right. I think I'm really hard on myself sometimes and look at the big picture, thus getting overwhelmed. It's true that I'm willing to get to my goal, I just need to find another outlet than eating to let out stress/frustration. Think that's the main trigger. Thanks for your response!

I have used it before for a boost. I would even take half a scoop and it gave me the boost I need.

Maybe you could try starting with something small. For example, take a 10-20 minute walk. Put on some headphones and just clear your mind. Then the next day add 5 minutes, the next day add 5 more minutes. Music always helps me and takes my mind off things.

The way I see myself is better. Like before I would get discouraged and be hard on myself. Now I try to always be nicer to myself on this journey and I feel a lot better emotionally because of it. Also I am not bloated anymore and my tummy is shrinking. Yay! :)

I like the idea of this post! Well, I am willing to admit to something I used to do as a coping mechanism. I had a huge thing for those sour candies that you could buy anywhere. So sometimes I would pop over to the gas station by my house and buy like 3 different large sized bags of those sour candies and any type of…

Panda Express and In-N-Out. I haven't had any since I moved back home a while ago, and I'm never going back. They were the cause of my 25lb weight gain.

That OK th I might consider getting one! I heard they're great. & yeah that makes sense about the gym machines, but I do try to stick to higher intensity ellipticals. The stair machine also makes me sweat like crazy, so I know it's burning something. But thanks everyone for the input. I think I need to find a more reliable…

Hmm, that sounds more like an opinion than a fact to me.
-
That sounds reasonable. Last night I went to bed SUPER hungry, so I probably need to add 200 lbs when I burn that much. For me, I'm big on using different machines at the gym, and they have the amount on them of calories burned.
-
Also, I am a swimmer, so an hour swim can easily burn 500 or more kcals.
-
Exactly 1 hour of the precore elliptical burned 470 calories on level 7, and the rest was brisk walking on the treadmill to cool off. The calories are shown right on the machines.

Thanks for the input everyone. It really helped :)

I agree, just need to find the balance. I definitely want to have a healthy weightloss and not starve myself. I probably should be eating back more of my calories from exercising, that might make me feel filled up more at night. Thanks for your response!

Okay thank you all for your answers! I'm going to keep eating it and not worry about it then. Good luck to all of you as well on being a healthier you! :)

I've never been overweight in my life... Until recently. Slowly this last year I've worked my way up on the scale. My normal for a 5'9 girl is about 155, but when I had a physical at the doctor the other day a dramatic 178 lbs popped up on the scale. Also, at the end of the physical my doctor handed me a packet of papers…

If you're swimming that much, don't even worry about what you eat. I am a swimmer, and when I was on a team I ate up to 3000 calories a day, and at the end of the 3 months had lost 25 lbs. I didn't even intend to. It just naturally fell off. The intense workout sessions burned so many calories, and if I my intake wasn't…
