I hope you will be able to lower your blood pressure through diet and exercise. I unfortunately was not able to. I lost weight and got very fit a few years ago, and my blood pressure remained high. I am currently taking a very low dose of Atenolol for my high blood pressure and it is working great for me.

I really recommend the Leslie Sansone Tone Every Zone Walk. It has 3, 20 minute workouts that are very basic interval workouts. Years ago I took an antidepressant, Celexa and gained about 10 lbs in a month. When I took myself off the drug, I lost it in a month. I believe you! Talk to your Dr. about this. Maybe they can change up your medication.

I have never been underweight, but struggle to keep myself at a healthy weight. That is one reason I like the My Fitness Pal food journal.
