Yes, me. I went from 200 to about 169 losing .9 lbs a week but I've felt lost lately. Lots of change going on all around me. I need to be the same for a little bit. So I'm on maintenance right now. I probably won't resume for a few weeks. Definitely going to try for .5 (maybe .45 seeing as how my previous pattern went.…

I find walking is the perfect antidote to what you're describing!
-
But mostly no. I know this is how it is. Life changes.

Sometimes I mourn being a young person who could eat & drink like a man! My hair was better then too :-(
-
Otherwise everyone with a pair of flip flops could look like Arnold Schwarzenegger! LOL
-
PS gaining muscle takes a lot longer than a three hour walk

I'm up 3 lbs for two weeks running. It is what it is. Don't give up. This is just life. It's good practice for maintenance in the future. Life isn't all puppies and scale victories, you know? It sounds like you think you know the culprit. Move on. Do the next right thing, make the next right choice.

The suggestions here are spot on. I'm an old crone, so all I can add is changing your thinking will change your life. It's hard. It's ALL hard. Admit the hardship, then get out the pick axes, the caribiners, the waterproof boots and scale these obstacles... That's the real work of being human. I've lived long enough to see…

Consistency over perfection.

But I may hit 10k in ice cream & bday cake. Thursday would have been my mum's 72nd bday, my MIL's 91st is Friday & my 53rd is Monday. I am officially entering the cake 'n cream zone. Better buckle up!

That's what I thought! Sometimes I go on really long hikes with lots of elevation changes & I have to add a meal the next day because I'm just too knackered to eat.
-
Is this a clean or dirty bulk, that's what I want to know!
-
LOL

As Sheryl Crow might say... My favorite mistake!
-
Hahaha you guys are making me laugh.

I lost the first 30 lbs at .9 lbs per week like clockwork... now, the clock has slowed :-( We shall see...

This is still circulating? Have you been to a doctor? Seriously, go already

Nutrients. Unless you like being a smaller hairless sack of fat with bad skin and poor teeth in a tinier size of jean. If that's the case, sky's the limit!

Preach!

Lots of up, down and sideways

Yuck

Ignore ignore ignore There will be gatekeepers who become deeply uncomfortable with what is possible... Ignore ignore ignore

Think about it: if we could gain weight like you're assuming, we would all look like body builders or be morbidly obese. Bones would heal in days rather than weeks. Everyone could just grow a kardashian *kitten* of lies without implants. I mean, really...
-
Water... transit... Everyone thinks they're superman or wonder woman this way. Nope. It takes a much larger surplus across a number of days for your body to process actual new weight.

Doctor Doctor Doctor sweetie Not Doctor Internets A real doctor

Also: consider a free weights program. It's fun to experience that progression.

Just try to avoid the all-or-nothing thinking... Start where you are & build up. Instead of thinking in terms of hours walked, step counting might be beneficial. When I started I could see how easily I got to 10k daily steps so I went toward a 100k weekly goal. I don't walk the same amount every day, my schedule wouldn't…

Yes you can! I've been experiencing a mojo deficit myself :-(

Aria is notoriously off! You have a nicely balanced hourglass shape & it's still off! Women like me who are inverted triangles, or apples, or rulers fare even worse. You could try setting it to lean mode but it's still a crapshoot. A dexa scan costs about $125 to get done commercially and is highly accurate. If you're…
