I don't prelog, but I'm also very routine on most days.

I did WW under a different program, but I never ate the bonus points. It slows down your weight loss. But if you tend to binge, I guess it could prevent that. Even with free foods.....veggies.....WW made it clear that overdoing it wasn't recommended. WW is just like this program. You can eat the way you'd like to eat…

I really had to eat regularly. And if I felt too hungry, I ate and assumed it would be ok.

Then that's fine and good that you know yourself. I've lost fine without weighing. My body often "feels" skinnier beforr the loss shows up. Not sure why... Sounds like you'll see loss soon. Don't be discouraged.

I love fish tacos. I e en cook several filets at once and then they are ready.

OK, ty.....I'm going to land around 130. I thought I might go ahead and lose down to 128, just to give me some space. 50 cals at a time sounds smart.

I just used this MFP self-guided set up. It assigned me a number of calories. (1200) And it's working. I don't know how the fitbit works with this system, but others do, I'm sure.

Celery and salsa really are great to me. Just hits the spot often. But no totally without calories. Still so low, almost!

Log your food. Every day. Those who log are statistically far more successful than those who do not.

Isn't that called....zigzagging? I tried doing that to get the scale moving again, but it really didn't work for me.

I learned in WW that the average person gains 7 lbs during the holidays. Some of the tips I gained there were helpful. One was pretty obvious. Save up your calories for the day for the big meal. It's not like you need a big breakfast on TG day. Another was to divide plate into 3 parts.....one for protein, one for starchy…

I didn't lose my first 2 weeks. Not sure why. I was expecting that water weight loss. It came after about 10 days. Then it dropped fast for several days. Like you, I knew I was eating far less. So it had to show up some time!

I am comfortable with Zumba Gold class twice weekly and then walking another couple of days a week or mowing the yard, etc. But I'm older, so the walking I do at work is really pretty good for me. I know I wanted to lose the lbs and not have to commit to trying to become a mountain climber or whatever. lol

I went through about 3 weeks of that. I had just hit normal BMI weight, and boom.....scale seemed stuck. I googled around and found some suggestions. Zig-zagging calories didn't work for me, anyway....but I tried the following with success. 1. Reduce your calories by just a little. 2. Drink more water 3. Intensify your…

I look up similar items from chain restaurants. Then use that. For example, a really good burger is around 650 calories at a good place. This is also why I don't measure morsel. It's just never going to be perfect. But provided I come close, I've continued to lose. Eating out is my social life, so I'm not giving it up!

Thanks.....I like the range idea. And I was thinking about just adding back in 100 calories at a time.

My weight is the lowest in the morning, right after I pee, and nekkid. My doctor is not allowed in my bathroom. lol BUT if he were, he'd see.......... Clothing, time of day, did I mention blue jeans? :)

Looking good!

I was grumpy when I first started. It actually makes sense to me that you have to go through that grumpy stage again when you start over. I was definitely surprised at the portion size allowed and thought........that's it? I'll starve! lol I piled on the veggies to give me some bulk to meals. And I really upped my protein,…

These are some really great ideas. I'm so glad you asked!

While in losing mode, I've not eaten back my calories but I do log them. It's a good reality check for me. There was a month where I couldn't do my exercise class due to work, and that month, I had to be vigilant about the calorie count if I wanted to lose. The exercise calories are really for my benefit so that I don't…

I made lunch and breakfast the same ole, same ole for that reason. And I got a friend to join me in my Zumba class. The more routine I made it, the easier it was for me.

I am more of a boredom eater, but I can stress eat, too. lol I just had to set my calories and stick with it, regardless of what was going on. I drink too much coffee, I suppose, when stressed. I chew too much gum. But I just don't hit the chip bag.

I structure it based on what's going on for the day, so it varies.

I had a wee problem in another area of life, and I tried to make it a family affair, too. I was told, quickly, that my problem was mine. Don't expect others to jump on the bandwagon, too. It's proven to be excellent advice. You have to be committed to your own life. Nobody else needs to do that for you.

I'm wondering if he's mostly worried that he has to eat diet food along with you.

I had to decrease my calories, intensify workout, and drink more water as I am now only 5 lbs from my goal. Definitely the last few lbs is hard, for me anyway. Most of it is mental, I think. I had to finally settle down and recognize.....close is close, but it's not there.

I love sushi, but dang, the rice is really a killer on calories. *sigh*

Just fill in your profile, and it will work if you stick to it. The system is pretty easy to understand, and I like the database. I can fill in foods from my phone, even.

The sweet tooth thing for me had to be nipped at first, anyway. I am just now allowing a few treats now and then, but I knew....that was my vulnerable area. I just cleared it all out and stayed away for quite awhile. When I finally ate some cookies, sure enough......ate the entire batch! But that broke the spell, I guess.…
