Get a desk that you can stand or sit with. Sit on a large exercise ball instead of a chair. Walk every hour for a set amount of minutes.

Do you enjoy your exercise program? If it’s torture and you are tired of it that would be a reason to make a change. Or if your schedule has changed and you have less time available. That’s what happens to most people, family demands eat up personal time for things like exercise. Or If you are eating the large amounts of…

MikePTY is on the right track/\. I am 5’3” and have been logging for the last week, weighing all foods and set my calories to 1450. I walk and garden as my exercise. I weigh 213lbs and am a 48 year old female. I lost 3 pounds this week. I have a lot more to lose than you do, but I think trying 1600 calories for two weeks…

Crock pots, big batches of protein for left overs, frozen vegetable section at Trader Joe's.

I'm curious how many calories and what macros all of you 5'3" ladies are using?

Hi, I'm 5'3", age 45. I have hit my goal 2X since having kids. I looked and felt great at 138 and 135. I have a muscular build, endomorph, mesomorph type body. I wear a size 6 jeans at goal. I always thought 125 would be nice, but every time I tried to get there I ended up binging. So I think its too low for my body type.

I looked great at 135 and 138 when I reached my goal weight twice since having kids. I'm a muscular build.

I did it for 2 weeks. I liked the break from thinking about food in the morning rush. Hated bonking in my weight training class one morning. Felt light headed and clammy. I quit after that.

Hello to all who have posted so far on this thread. I'm working on the nutrition part of the equation. I do weights three times a week. I am working on staying at 1350 to lose weight each week. Feel free to add me, anyone on this thread. We can do this. I've done it before and it's an average of 1.3 lbs a week for me when…

The 2 times I got to goal: lost 55lbs in 11 months. Time 2: lost 30 lbs in 5 months. So that's an average loss of 1.3lbs a week for me. This has been good for me to think of this way. Sometimes I get frustrated with how slow it seems in the middle of trying to reach a goal.

I like weight training, it does a fine job toning up my body. Plus it doesn't spike my hunger like cardio only does. I do some cardio with the weight circuits. But nothing excessive.

I'm 5'3 and currently weigh 160lbs. I got down to 138lbs 2 years ago. I restricted my diet to a "healthy"foods list prescribed by my gym. This backfired for me causing cravings. Now I'm trying to find balance and incorporate some of the "off list" foods without binging. I'm working on calorie counting without the obsession…

I tried IF for 2 weeks using the 16:8. It gave me bad breath too. Plus I was cranky and bonked in a weights class. I got light headed and the clammy sweats. So back to three meals for me. I eat snacks if hungry in between. I like having steady energy when I work out.
