My plan is to pick up resistance training... The biggest barrier for me is bringing the weights and mat to the living room then putting them back in the garage even though that’s exercise in itself lol. Also, it’s about a15 foot walk so I really need to suck it up.

May 21-22 Cals carbs and exercise on point. Did a 6 mile hike yesterday and was not out of breath on the steep uphill parts. Hey, I take my victories where I can get them 😀😀

I feel like I’m stuck in one of those dreams where you’re trying to run but can’t get anywhere. (My war with the scale) However, I woke up, challenged my assumption and ran 5k for a PR of 37:08 and am gonna tell the scale to .. well, not going to type that 😀

May 15-17 Food exercise and calories were all fine. I got on the scale this morning and was up 3 pounds? I had an allergic reaction to some salami yesterday and had to take some Benadryl. Do you think that could be the cause?

May 9 Happy Mother’s Day! 🌷🌸🍾 Ate too much, drank too much but the weather was glorious and life was grand. Spent the day wandering in the park near our house where there are three castles and a winery overlooking the river. Back to it today!

May 7 My scale finally surrendered! Down into the next decade. Yay! It took me 5 weeks to lose 3.6 lbs. I really need to up my game. In February, my weight trend app predicted I’d hit goal (normal BMI, then reassess) in July. Now it’s pushed to October. NOT COOL, Happy Scale.
